Busta Rhymes did not play a solo set, it seemed as if Ashes Divide and The Bravery played for slightly longer than they were supposed to to compensate for the lost time. Also, Street Drum Corps did play on the main stage for about 20 minutes, I didn't get a setlist for them because none of their songs are real songs anyway.

Armor For Sleep was a strong opener, I enjoyed their set although as much as I like The Way Out Is Broken and Stay On The Ground, I think they should play more songs that would be familiar to such a broad audience, i.e. The Truth About Heaven, Dream To Make Believe, etc. But nonetheless they knew what they were doing and are entertaining as always.

Hawthorne Heights is a band I was never really into, but I was curious to see how they sound since they are down a member, and they do live up to the studio recordings' quality. The crowd was actually more motivated by their performance then Armor For Sleep. I feel as if they put on a sufficient show and I would not mind seeing them again.

10 Years was incredible. The entire band was into the performance, everybody in the band was mouthing the lyrics to all the songs. The crowd however was very calm. Their songs are rather mellow, but they all seem to be good musicians and were entertaining.

Atreyu was very good, but not loud enough for some reason, unless I just started going deaf from the three previous bands, who definitely had it cranked to eleven. This is the third time I have seen them and everytime they are very energetic and into the music and funny too. Definitely a good Rev Stage headliner, although I think they should have been the precursor to Linkin Park and Chris Cornell should have closed this stage. Atreyu deserves to play at night on a real stage, not in a parking lot in the middle of the day.

Ashes Divide were not very good. The lead singer has no idea how to project his voice over the instruments and it was clearly not the soundboards fault. I was also kind of disappointed that they opened with The Stone since it is really the only song I like by them, it left not much to be looking forward to in their set.

The Bravery has gotten a lot of shit from people on this board and I'm not sure why. This is the second time I've seen them and I feel like they've put on a very entertaining show both times. But from experience, Fearless is a 10x better opener than Swollen Summer, but oh well, entertaining nonetheless.

Chris Cornell's band was very good, he, however, did not thrill me very much. Every verse in every song sounded like one long slurred word, maybe he was drunk, or maybe it's just me, but it seems like he doesn't have much desire to sing anymore. He was joined by Chesthair Bennington on Hunger Strike which was mildly entertaining, and then during Black Hole Sun he ventured out into the crowd and made his way onto the lawn and then all the way to the upper deck and back down in time for his closing song. It was pretty humorous watching every audience member that got near the mic try to sing the song though.

Linkin Park: A lot of people don't seem to like this band very much. I admit myself, the turntables thing is kind of stupid, but they are a kickass band live. They put every ounce of energy they have into their performance and had everybody from the front to the back of the amphitheater standing for the entire performance. They can't really be that bad, if they can pull that off they must have some talent. Busta came out for We Made It in the encore but really looked like a pile of shit, which is a good hint to why he didn't have a full set this night.

THE END

Ashes Divide shouldn't be on mainstage. Atreyu, 10 Years, hell even Hawthorne Heights would be a bigger mainstage draw than them.

A song that was supposed to be on Smile For Them but was scrapped because they felt it was out of place on the album.

Was a great show overall.

My favorite band on the tour is the bravery, seen them 3 times now.

Cornell, LP were stellar as well.

I loved 10 years without knowing any of their music but i really liked them now.

I think Armor for Sleep should def play songs people know, I mean the fan favorites are always a plus

His work on Temple of The Dog and Soundgarden is my favorite singing ever, but Audioslave and now his new solo stuff he just seems to have lost it. But I'm not mad at him, he's been singing for years it's only natural he'd start declining at some point.

natural i guess, but there are alot of singers who have been doing it just as long and sang just as hard and still have not declined to the horrific voice cornell has now.

This Is Who We Are is an interesting choice of song from IOYWL, but odd choice of not closing with Ohio Is For Lovers.

One of my best friends and I are surprising his wife by taking her to the Mountain View date for this because it's on her birthday (we're not gonna tell her until I pick her up for "brunch")... the Atreyu and Linkin Park sets you listed will make her very, very happy.

Linkin Park was amazing that night. And mission successful, my wife never knew. Rob proved just how good he really is on the drums too. Chris Cornell just didnt do a think for me as like the first person said, his words sounded like they all blended together.

i want to go tomorrow, but it's the 1st day of school and i would have to make up some story for my parents in order to go. besides, i only want to see atreyu (who i've seen 3 times and met) and a few songs from armor for sleep. i love linkin park, but i don't think that their live show is worth seeing for a third time. also, maybe it's just me, but i saw a video of rob's drum solo, and i thought it kinda sucked for being a solo. i think he's a decent drummer, but the video i saw didn't impress me at all. i have some friends that have only been playing for about a year that have played harder solos than that. maybe it's just that he has a smaller set and can't do as much with it...i don't know.

Atreyu would be worth going to see alone, they put on an amazing show on Saturday.

I recommend giving Linkin Park's live show another shot. I've seen them 8 times now, and they've gotten better every time I've seen them.

it makes me depressed to know that i can't go see atreyu today, but i don't think that i need to go to a concert on the first day of school. i absolutely love tham and it's been over 2 years since the last time i saw them, but i want to get back in the school state of mind. also, i'm going to a dance gavin dance/a static lullaby show on friday, so i'll be ok lol

i wouldn't mind seeing lp again, but i don't want it to be at projekt revolution. they would also have to be with some great bands in order for me to go.
