It was pretty cool I thought. Kind of hard to see on that tiny Launch screen though.

Very cool video. It's their best so far in my opinion. The lighting's great, and the revolving cameras is done just right. I'm once again stoked for the album.
PS There's a full screen button on there in the bottom right corner, I think.
Excellent video. It really shows off the intesity of the band. A very simple, but effective video. I love the style of the video, it's perfect.

this video is so fucking BORING...thats absolutely nothing to it....and to make matters worse, doesnt it remind any of u of the cut from the team video, not the fight club stuff, but the band performing part, same type of lighting and what not.....not impressed at all

I don't really get why you were curious about people's opinions. How much of an opinion can you really have about some people playing instruments in a dark room?

whoa whoa whoa, back off jared , he is the one guy who talks about tbs and gives it straight, second i thought the video was aweosme, good stufff, not tooo freaking overdone, simple is safe.good stuff, cute without the e has the best video though. come on now fight club, cant beat that.By the way anyone seen tbs live at warped, if so do ya knwo there set?
i wasn't impressed either. not to mention i sat here thinking, "wait is adam still the lead singer of this band?" during nearly the entire thing. regardless, the song is still great.

im going to have to agree that this is one hell of a boring video. im not truely suprised about how they made it simple, easy for the TRL airwaves to grab hold. with this new album, im expecting a lot more
PS There's a full screen button on there in the bottom right corner, I think.
True- my computers a piece of shit though- I tried that and the video was just a huge black box

I guess you forgot about a little video known as "You're So Last Summer" that everyone ripped apart. So I was curious as to if people would like this (as simple as it may be).

I liked the simplicity of it and the lighting and idea to it was cool. Too much camera movement though. I would actually like to see all of their faces instead of running by them. I also would have liked a little more outside view to see what the setting had to do w/ the song. Overall though, simple was pretty smooth. And they have been playing all the old stuff (bike scene, you know, cute w/o, so last, summer) and then like 2-3 new ones (set phasers, bonus mosh, a decade). ~late

Is it just me or does Fred bear an uncanny resemblance to Thom Yorke in this video?

I enjoyed it.. It's no worse than most of the crap music videos you see today. Performance videos are all about the setting/mood of the song rather than the video itself. Plus, it has that eerie green Matrix glow to it. They should have had Adam do the Trinity kick thing from the first movie.

does anyone else notice that this is a different cut of the song than was posted on this site a few weeks ago? its very slightly different, but there are different sounding parts.

i love tbs and i love the new album. and i thought the video was kinda boring but the lighting and everything was pretty cool like everyone said. and i'm actually happy with this video because since its not a planned out story/video like hoobastank and other numerous bands, maybe the mtv whores wont go ape shit over it and they'll come back to there true fans and leave the big stages behind. just a thought.

Awesome video.
Ive gotten bored with videos like yellowcards and brand news, and midtowns. At first they were entertaining (when brand new did it with sic transit) but now its just getting stupid. This video is simple yet it has enough twists with lighting and camera angles that it keeps it a little interesting

well, it's definatly a step up from "So Last Summer" so i'll give it that much. Other than that, yeah it's like "cute without the e" minus the fight club scenes. nothing special, but not bad.

Eh, nothing special. The spinning effect is getting overdone now, with Offspring's new video and Snow Patrol's new video. Snow Patrol's video has them in a dark room with one light, spinning around, too.
Whatever, very few videos actually impress me anymore.
cute without the e was the best video i have seen for a band really. fight club is one of my favorite movies. it's too bad that there was no theme for this video besides lighting and camera rotations. i don't mind the artists...artistically expressing themselves in a video. i liked the brand new video of sic transit gloria, that was a very cool video. if taking back sunday had any emotions that they wanted to express about this song...i think it should have been portrayed in the video. i know they don't have to, and we should be able to pick up on that through the song...but yea it's just my opinion.
timberwolves in new jersey was a pretty good video too. hehe i forgot about that one. it's always funny seeing adam sing in the shower.

if there was ever a video you could get dizzy watching it would be this one, and i really disliked it, it was extremely boring

Luckily 'everyone' means everyone here who sits in their dark room all day tearing everything apart so much that it bears little meaning at the end of the day. Belive it or not people who leave their house for sunlight actually don't always have such a negative view of things.. It's the same tired debate, no matter what this video became people would hold certain views. The same people who hate it for being simple would have hated it for being elaborate. Also you guys just saw it on a small box on a computer.. At least wait to see it on TV or something. Better yet, just ignore it if you don't like it. Use the 2 minutes you would use complaining to go register to vote.

my thoughts exactly.
the video wasn't bad.. actually very good for just a performance video. the camera work was awesome and the "anyone will do tonight.." part was really rad.

i think it's a damn good performance video. that's it. it's not amazing, but it doesn't suck. just take it for what it is.

This video will not break them into the mainstream (MTV) period.

I thought the video was well directed, you could get a feel for the energy of the band. however, i don't know about the originality of the concept of a band playing in a dark room with flashing lights?
i'm still a fan of TBS, though. :)

first off, it took me forever to get the video working. it kept started playing franz ferdinand and rancid for some reason. (my computer's retarded)
but yeah, as most people said, the spinning thing makes you dizzy. but hey, at least it's not giving you a seizure like the end of cute without the E...
most importanly, i miss john nolan...

Like a few have said, it's decent for a performance video. It's also bounds and leaps above their last video -- that one was ridiculous and worthless.
This new one doesn't say much, it's not particularly emotive, but it does set the mood for the track.

I'm disappointed. Nothing special and rather boring. Thumbs down. It's not the same without John Nolan and Shaun Cooper.
