Eh, I don't think I would be too happy with this.

Just like how Kerry was going to ask McCain to be his running mate in '04, right? This will never go through.

Biden or Dodd, would almost guarantee it.

You take the American voters for granted.

They are the two highest profile options that have not denied the position.

+1. They both bring major foreign affairs experience to the ticket. I would prefer Biden, personally.

many say it's likely obama will pick an "attack dog" vp, which would make biden the better choice. I dunno if Obama would pick up dodd with unless he's confident they can fight off that whole countrywide mortgage deal he got.

youre forgetting the fact that biden a) insulted him b) comes with significantly more baggage. and i don't know if you've ever seen dodd on the defense live and in person but i wouldn't underestimate him. and i dont really think obama needs an "attack" dog just someone who can shut the conversation down quickly

Really all Obama needs is someone who complements and doesn't embarrass him.

I personally like Biden because he doesn't feel the need to be politically correct 100% of the time. If people need a nice sugar-coating with their politics, then Biden isn't your man. Biden does however tell you the truth, which many politicians are not able to do.

Of all the potential candidates, he's closest to Biden...
