I've always been curious as to which release you guys liked better. Sorry if this has been asked before.
And explain why you picked it.

Personally, Brand New is my favorite band, but I think TAYF has much more lasting value.

Agreed. Once upon a time I would have probably answered differently, but although I like Brand New a lot more than Taking Back Sunday, I think Tell All Your Friends is one of the best albums I've ever heard.

Awesome poll right here. I think that when we talk about albums TAYF may be a little better than YFW. This was way back when I still liked TBS. It's actually the only album by them that I like. The lyrics were so much better and so was the sound. I still am convinced that Nolan did most of the writing for them and that they kind of struggled to hold on to what he had created for them before he left. It just seems a little forced when you listen to WYWTB...and I won't even give LN another listen because the 'forced' feeling just got exponentially worse with that album. Brand New is a much better band, but i believe that TAYF is a more timeless album. Now, if we were talking Deja Entendu...DE is better. But that might be a little unfair of a comparison.

Tell All Your Friends, although this is one of the only circumstances where I would favour TBS (I do like them, but they don't compare to post-YFW Brand New).

Tell All Your Friends is a lot better than Your Favorite Weapon. Brand New has since become the much better band, but TAYF is better than YFW.

tayf is a great release dont get me wrong, but yfw is incredi-goodness
