I am looking for new music to listen to because I worn out most of the music on my iPod.

I like ska, punk, pop-punk, and some hardcore, so anything along those lines would be good, and any other recommendations would be appreciated also.

I've never listened to ska, so I've no idea myself, but everyone I know who has listened to them always brings up ska when describing their sound. They could just be idiots though.

Should I have picked bands that I hadn't listened to before instead? Because all I said was that I was already a fan of those bands, as in before I created this thread.

The first didn't work, but I liked the second. I dug all of the different instruments they use.

So far I've liked the Hold Steady, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, and The Max Levine Ensemble a lot. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the rest yet, but so far, so good.
