What does everyone think of the new demos? I put Revolution on a mix cd and I've been listening to it non stop in the car. I think it's great. Also, did anyone go to the show at the Norva on Friday? I'm anxious to know how that went.

Race The Sun is amazing. The Rest Of Our Lives Is Tonight is such a solid record. Wish they didn't break up.

This band is absolutely fantastic. I think they're technically not broken up, they're just busy as individuals.

I wish I would have gotten to see them live.

I'm pretty sure they are broken up. They released those 2 demos (revolution and please tell me) and awe haven't heard from them since. It's a shame. They were amazing.

I live in Richmond and ran into Daniel not too long ago. He said that a few people were getting married and they were only starting writing again, not recording. Whether that amounts to anything in the near future I don't know, but last I heard they are not entirely broken up.

Was just listening to these guys. I am guessing the reunion did not work out since there has not been a peep from them in quite a while.

I really wish there was a good quality version of "Aquiesce" out there. that song is such a jam and my favorite of their demos after their first album

Conditions/Mayfair Canal Club, RVA show review:
http://rvamag.com/articles/full/9811/show-review-conditions

"Mayfair is the latest project featuring the vocal talents of Race The Sun (http://www.myspace.com/racethesun)'s Daniel Long, and as I've always been into Race The Sun, I was looking forward to seeing his new band. The studio recordings I've heard on the internet had a bit more studio gloss than I really like, but live, that wasn't a problem... the lead parts (guitarist) Zack Reichert laid down mixed perfectly with Daniel Long's high, clear vocal melodies, which avoided the pop-punk touches of his previous work with Race The Sun in favor of a more melancholy style that reminded me of Jimmy Eat World circa Clarity... Also like Jimmy Eat World, Mayfair showed a striking ability to construct their songs for maximum emotional impact...This was one of their first shows, too, so they're only going to get better from here."
