I don't understand what Anthony doesn't get.. every single one of his side projects have 1/100th the talent of Saosin. Is he that stubborn as to try 5 more bands before he finally goes back to Saosin?

ive had the 4 demos for a while and they are quite terrific. very melodic and kind of mathy. some other people have been comparing it ATDI but im not so sure about that. all i hope for is that the EP will have more than these 4 songs and cant wait to hear them mastered.

hes not a fucking idiot, you are for making this un-educated assumption. anthony did not like the music that was being created in Saosin. as much as all of us Saofans have wanted him back forever, hoping that Cove can fill his shoes, we all realize what Anthony had to do. he felt as though he was just there for singing sake and that there were other things he would love to do a.k.a Circa Survive and High and Driving. if you listen to those bands then you can kind of get the feeling of what he loves to sing/play. as for SOAF, its still not along the lines of Saosin but its jawesome none the less

Before joining Saosin he warned them that if they didn't get signed to a major label after the first cd he would leave. He doesn't live where they live and he doesn't want to waste his time on a smaller label.

Now that it's grown on me, I have to say I love "Handshakes at Sunrise" by Circa Survive as much as most of the saosin stuff. I hope Circa Survive becomes a full time project.

you also gotta remember in an interview anthony once said he didn't want to be in the band in the first place, they just called him up and asked him to do the vocals...

also just because it's a side project doesn't mean anthony's deovting all his time to it, he's writing for Crica Survive i would assume, and I'm sure randy is busy with Finch, and I'm sure the rx bandits don't have much free time either, so maybe it'll just be something they get together to record and put out some music, there are many bands (i.e. Queen) who's memeber's did solo projects in off time and never toured for them...

I'm not an expert on music contratcs, but perhaps this is how they can get the album released on a different labelif they won't be touring on it?

oo and the demos kick seious ass, I can't wait for this album...


plus u gotta think this would be a perfect time for all the members to get together as each one's bands are kinda inbetween touring/writing right now...I just jope anthony is doin vocals on the album....

It sounds like Anthony but I don't think there is much or any screaming in it. The lyrics are kinda stupid though but he was only 16 when he wrote them so I guess thats ok. I have the CD and some other AOO demos as well.
