I know summer is a long way away, but warped is already shaping up. The dates, the venues, the bands have all been announced. Now presale tickets are on sale (http://www.musictoday.com/redirect/bounce.asp?cid=29390) too.
Sure the lineup isn't as good as past years, but I'll be making it out to my show.
What bands are you pumped to see?



btw, the presale is the cheapest way to get tickets and its the only way to guarantee that you get tickets before it sells out, so i'd highly recommend that you buy through the presale.

Warped for me has simply become a waste of money. For the same $40 I would spend on a ticket, I could see 2 or 3 of my favorite bands in the lineup each play for 2 or 3 times the length in a better environment.

it depends on which date you're going to and the capacity of that venue. last year the boston date sold out, and plenty of others did too. you shouldnt have to worry about it selling out immediately, but the presale is the cheapest way to get tickets so it doesnt really make sense to wait and pay like $10-20 more through ticketmaster

This year I plan on going to the Cinci and Indy dates. 7/30 and 7/31 Since the lineup is the same shouldn't the order of the bands playing be the same? I want to see like 15+ bands and I know certain bands timeslots will conflict, just like they did last year.Also why does the Indy date start at 4pm? I thought all dates started early morning
No, in all likelihood the order of the bands will be different.

obviously more going to be there and not going to be able to see prolly half of them.

Im a guy from London who is going to visit America purely to see the warped tour. Im most probably going to go to one of the New york dates as it has all the bands I wish to see (ie we the kings, all time low, every avenue etc), thing is; i know fuck all about america. usually I wouldn't normally go to warped or even bamoboozle, but bamboozle seems to have pretty decent bands, most on the Saturday show, so this is the first time in like 2 or 3 years that I actually wanna go to Bamboozle, when when I looked at the warped tour list, I just felt too old.......so I think I might go to this years Bamboozle but I will continue the tradition of not going to warped for the 3rd year

not that many bands suck live. also remember some of those bands may be playing at the same time. and sometimes none of the bands you want to see will be playing.

I don't think I will ever have a good time at Warped Tour. It's way too hot and I always end up missing the bands I went to see. And I almost got stranded in NJ, because their are very few cabs at night. At least the three Warped Tour shows I went to ended up being free for me. I just had to pay for transportation.

I guess I love punishment, so I'm going to go hoping this year will be a better year. This year I am going to see Story of The Year, Cobra Starship, and possibly The All-American Rejects if I travel to the West Coast.

they usually give you a map on which bands are playing and at the stages that they will be at...like their is a main stage, etc....then you can see what time each band is playing and plan at that u will see one band at 6 o'clock and another at 5...ya, u get my drift

Last year I enjoyed Warped so much (Circa Survive, Chiodos, Funeral for a Friend, Coheed and Cambria) that I knew this year wouldn't live up to any expectations I'd have so I never got my hopes up, but wow. Just wow. I can't begin to say how disappointed I am by the lineup. I only would like to see Pierce the Veil and the Color Fred and I'm seeing the latter next month with Chiodos, so $30 for PTV? I like them but no.

And it's weird, because with my friends, I'm one of the only ones who isn't super stoked about the tour this year, as they love Angels and Airwaves, Say Anything, and Reel Big Fish, whereas I would rather burn my eyes out with a hot poker than suffer through any of their live sets.

if you get a subscription to AltPress, then they send you a "Cut the Autograph Line Pass." Its pretty much just a sticker with "Cut the Line" and AltPress's logo on it, but at all the signings that they have at their tent (Alt Press tent only) you dont have to wait in line. which is good because the lines for those get really long, but may not be useful because you might not like the band doing the signings that day. i didnt even use mine last year.

i think you're talking about the cut the autograph line pass

if you get a subscription to AltPress, then they send you a "Cut the Autograph Line Pass." Its pretty much just a sticker with "Cut the Line" and AltPress's logo on it, but at all the signings that they have at their tent (Alt Press tent only) you dont have to wait in line. which is good because the lines for those get really long, but may not be useful because you might not like the band doing the signings that day. i didnt even use mine last year.

Yeah pretty much. A quick stop at its Wikipedia article tells me that I would have enjoyed seeing Incubus the first year of the tour, Primus the next, as well as Deftones and Stone Temple Pilots (guilty pleasures) a few years ago. Otherwise, it's just Korn and Limp Bizkit or derivatives thereof for the most part.

Its not that Bamboozle is better, but it is more organized. You know when bands are playing and where, beforhand. At Warped, you find out when you get there. And its nots so hot out, since its not in the middle of the summer. But both are alot of fun, either way.

I think i'm to old too having my little cousis ask me to take them and my 14 year old neighbors listening to bands i do. it's getting ridiculous! but anyways the past couple concerts i have been to have been like that. little girls and full of moms. i guess most bands just hit mtv eventually. i hate it but its not their fault its that genre is just a hit now so its gonna happen. so on the other note everyone your never to old for warped tour cause you can see your bands and whoever else you want with your buddies and probably not a lot of little people mainly girls are gonna be there, walking around alone or moms with them all day..that aint happening so take this one full day musical event to enjoy your own music live with people who enjoy it and don't scream i love you to every lead singer!
