come to chicago, please, the bled. i haven't seen you since june 20th and i'm going through withdrawl.
i think gatsby's american dream is overrated. i'll give them another listen. i downloaded "why we fight" and "ribbons and sugar" a while back but i don't think they're anything special. not bad, just not great. and senses fail is...well, nothing really needs to be said. are they headlining this tour? if they are, how could they headline over the bled and underoath? then again if senses fail do headline i can wait until the bled are done and leave.

i think that's the only date released so far? at least between the bled, ticketmaster and senses fail's sites. i didn't check underoath's.
all my friends will be off at college by then so if i do go i'll be going alone...but the bled are worth it and i hate missing them when they come to chicago. especially if i don't have to sit through senses fail.

what. the new underoath is amazing. the new singer is a million times better, the melodies and guitar lines makes this the sickest pop/hardcore album to ever drop.
This tour better stop by seattle (i'm sure it will). I almost creamed my pants when I heard about this tour!

[QUOTE=SomePerson22]Fri, 09/24/04 05:30 PM the norfolk date has been posted october somthing? I didnt think the senses fail ep was so bad where does all the hate come from just in case i missed out on something i shoudl know about? although if an album is pushed back like 10 months nothing good can be expected and the buried a lie song was horrible

I agree. I've seen Gatsby's multiple times, and haven't managed to watch through an entire set. It's not that they're bad, I just don't think that they are that amazing.

im not in anyway saying that senses fail should be headlining, but i do just want to suggest that if you havent heard the new senses fail album you might want to download it and give it a chance. i was never a very big fan of senses fail but i got the new album a while back and i actually enjoy it.

gatsby's is an incredible technical rock band with sick breakdowns and lyrics. give ribbons and sugar a chance, it was one of the best releases of 2003. They are so different from anyone else out there - no choruses yet complete song unity. incredible band

sorry asshat, senses fail is still a drive-thru band. i do promotion for vagrant records, so i know what i am talking about...i don't know where you got that bogus information.

you cleary have no idea what you are talking about. once again, i work for vagrant so unlike you, i know what i am talking about. senses fail has a 3 album (someone correct me if i am wrong, but i am pretty sure that was the number) deal with drive-thru. if they were to break the contract and release the next album on another label, then senses fail would have a lawsuit on their hands. please shut up now.

ok i couldn't give two shits about any band on this tour, but i know enough about them all to ask the question: why the fuck is senses fail headlining this? a band that has brought absolutely nothing to the table, a completely worthless, talentless, cliche, unoriginal band of cry baby rich boys with one fucking ep to their name...and they get to headline. it shows the mind control drive-thru has over kids today. and that's fucking pathetic.
i hope to god by the time this tour comes around people will have wised up to the fact that senses fail is the worst band to come out this decade, and everyone leaves the venue after underoath plays. that would just rule.
IPS Josh
07/14/04, 07:54 AM
The reason that Senses Fail is headlining has nothing to do with who is the best band. No tour does. Senses Fail has sold the most records of this group of bands. They probably hired a booking agent who booked this entire tour and then they asked these bands to play the tour with them. Before too long, Underoath will be able to do good headlining tours also, as their record is flying off the shelves. Why do you think the Goo Goo Dolls headlined when they took Third Eye Blind out two years ago? Third Eye Blind freaking owns them, but the Goos sold more records and make more money, etc.

you'll be the one feeling like a moron when you realize that being a vagrant promoter doesn't mean you know everything about the label.
keep up with the promoting anyway, i love vagrant.
