Hey, I know it's not as easy to find acoustic artists as it is to find artists of other categories of rock, and thats why I'm starting this thread. This thread is for peope to be exposed to acoustic rock and all it has to offer. My favorite artist is Chase Coy, http://www.myspace.com/chasecoy , and I also like acoustic rock bands like Rookie of The Year. So while this may not be your type of music, please don't talk about how sucky the bands are that other people mention, or talk about how you hate them. Maybe you don't like them, but thats no reason to attack another person. So please, just be mature, post your favorite acoustic artist(s), and a link if you can.

Joey Cape sounds fantastic. Too bad his record isn't released in Europe until October, hmm.

And my suggestion is Bonnie Prince Billy (http://www.myspace.com/princebonniebilly), but I would assume most of you know of him already!

The same thread with the same posts every time seems pointless.

No, I haven't gotten around to it yet.

ROTY are from my hometown. I've been friends with Ryan since he was in high school. Can't say I'm much of a fan though. [/namedrop]

Once he records at Catastrophic Sounds, you'll be able to hear him better, he recorded those in his bedroom.

Unfortunately. I'm hoping to move soon though. I pretty much hate everything about this town. Are you from nearby, or just a fan of the band? Did you ever hear Ryan's old band, Indianapolis?
