ok so i've been with this girl the last 6 months, and i want to break up with her. But this girl is so in love with me, I don't have the heart to do it. Is there any good break up methods where I could get around this without breaking her heart? I mean I care about her a lot, and she is a great friend, but she's just not for me. So do you guys have any good break up advice?

aww man I know exactly what its like to be in your situation but okay.. I think we both know that you're gonna break her heart or well hurt her.. if you break up with her.. so there's really no way you can do it to avoid that. just be honest with her and perhaps tell her exactly what you wrote here. about how you feel about the whole thing and stuff. perhaps she's not exactly going to appreciate the honesty... not right away anyway.. but later on she will. and perhaps you can still be friends after a while.

but yeah just be honest with her and tell her you don't feel the same anymore. don't keep dragging the whole thing just because you don't want to hurt her.. because it'll be even harder later on.

good luck.

your exactly right, i just have to be honest and tell her the truth. I've been debating this for about the last week or so, and i think the only main reason i am still with her right now is because i was dragging it out so i wouldn't hurt her. The whole week i've been going back and forth on whether i should stay with her or not. This girl is beautiful, she has the best smile i have seen in my entire life, and i think part of my problem is that im selfish. In all honesty part of me wants to keep her just because i'm afraid of regret. But when i talk to her tommorow, i'm going to do everything you just said, and hopefully will figure things out, and come to a conclusion. But thanks again for the advice, that meant a lot to me

Definately do what she said. She knows what she's talking about. And I know from experience that she's right because I was once at the dump-ee end up this situation. My ex from about a year ago just all of a sudden started acting weird toward me but he never said anything but finally I was beginning to feel so horrible that I had to confront him, which was complete bullshit by the way. It hurt so bad because he finally confessed that he didn't feel the same and hadn't for a while but he still cared about me and thought I was great but didn't want to hurt me. I knew he was telling the truth because we're still friends and he's a real sweet guy, but he went about it all wrong and it hurt so much more because we should have broken up over 3 months before we did since he 'didnt want to hurt me'.

Go for it, and I hope things go well.

well not well, but as best as they could under the circumstances.

and the only reason I said that is because I'm making it a point to tell anyone my real name who uses my username on here from now on.

You're all fools.

Reguardless of how you dump her, she is going to hate you. So you better give her a good reason to- I recomend fucking her best friend/sister/mom. That way she dumps you, and you can play the rebound card with other girls.

Or just tell her you're leaving her broke ass, and if she complains, kill the bitch and dump her in a lake. Keep in mind I said lake, not a river. If there is a current, eventually her decomposed corpse will break free of the cement blocks and she'll float to the surface. So what you wanna do is cement her feet in, then tie a firm knot or two around her spinal cord (this might get a little messy) so she doesn't float away. And don't do anything stupid like leaving the blood soaked clothes in the trash can for Jose the garbage man to stumble on to.

everyones right about the way to do it. u definately need to speak to her before the relationship ages and feels more serious and permanent for her.... if u know what i mean.

good luck man. i hope you both find someone as special as you both deserve.

ah thanks again everybody for the advice, i actually talked to her about it on saturday night and i think it ended on a good note. I told her the truth and the way i felt about everything, she still didn't exactly like what she heard and was heartbroken but i think that had to happen eventually, but i still was completely honest about it and was as nice as possible. But thanks again it helped me out a lot
