So apparently Gym Class Heroes and a few other bands are taking a break from Warped Tour and performing a concert in Missoula, MT. I have tickets with a few friends and I'm really excited cuz I've never seen them live before. They are performing with Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Four Year Strong, and Tyga. I've never seen any of these bands live either. I only have CS and TAI's first CD, so i don't know anything from their other albums and I haven't heard anything from Four Year Strong or Tyga. So basically, I have two questions:
How good are all these bands live?
What are some good songs that I should check out from CS, TAI, FYS, and Tyga that they might perform? Thanks a bunch for the help!

I fuckin love Bada Bing Wit a Pipe. Thats the song that got me into em. Here are some more good songs by FYS;
Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die
Catastrophe
Maniac
Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Hell
Go Long Dad (they probably wont play it but its a good song)
and, since you asked... Guilty Pleasure by Cobra Starship is pretty catchy.

just hit their myspace and/or purevolume pages. That will give you a a good sampling of everything.

i'll help you out bro. i have a soft side for the state of montana for some reasons lol, beautiful state all year long, and i understand that not too much comes anywhere closer to where you are than the gorge or boise. so, i'd be super happy to help you out.
Cobra Starship put on a pretty good show, though Gabe's voice can be hit or miss depending on the night. they bring energy and quite a stage presence to their shows. off Viva La Cobra, I'd recommend checking out (and they will probably play depending on time limitations...) "The City Is At War," "Kiss My Sass," "Smile For The Paparazzi," I'd also check out "Damn You Look Good and I'm Drunk," The World Has It's Shine," and "Prostitution is the World Oldest Profession" which in my opinion is one of the better songs they've ever written. You might not see the latter three though.
The Academy Is... puts on a decent if not forgettable show. Out of the two times I've seen them, they have never blown me away, only entertained. You'll probably get the two new songs they've been playing at warped, "About A Girl" and "Summer Hair - Forever Young." Other than that, recently they've been playing more of Almost Here than Santi. I mean, I'd just basically check out the singles "We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands" and "Neighbors." "Everything We Had" might be one of their bigger songs too. Other than that, I don't know if you'll get much more from Santi, considering they aren't even direct support by the sounds of it.
With Four Year Strong, they put a pretty damn good show on. They tend to attract a different, more rowdy, older type of crowd than the other bands after them, but I don't know how much you'll get of that at a show with three FBR bands on the bill. Listen to the dude above me, he gave good recommendations. "Bada Bing! Wit A Pipe!" "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Hell" and they'll probably close with "Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die."
I don't know too much about Tyga.
And from Gym Class Heroes, you didn't question about them, so I'm assuming you know what to expect, but I'd say 3 or so new songs, you'll probably hear "Cookie Jar" and "Peace Sign/Index Down" and a slew of singles off of As Cruel... and such and "Taxi Driver" or maybe a melody of Papercut songs and possibly a cover.
Hope that helps

I forgot to mention that CS will undoubtedly close with "Guilty Pleasure" and that yes, it is super catchy.

everything here's pretty dead on about what to expect/what to listen to.
the four year crowds show up, attack the stage, and leave. nice guys, generally awesome fans, no-fail performances. they're such a good time.
the academy might bust out lifetime or the seed from Santi, in addition to what was listed above.
cobra tend to play send my love to the dancefloor, i'll see you in hell (hey mr. dj) from the first record in a lot of their shorter sets, in addition to snakes on a plane and hot addiction. most of their fans are there to have a good time and shake some asses, but sometimes, you'll get stuck in the middle of the mad crush of feral girls with spinning pictures of gabe in their eyes. remember to take deep breaths.
tyga is alright. he'll probably put on an alright show, and Travis from GCH will probably come out. they do some songs together, and i think they're related. he'll play Coconut Juice (his 1st single) and probably the expected second single, which is called First Timers, i think. not sure what else he'll do. most everything i've heard has been a collaboration with another artist.

Very, VERY surprisingly...They didn't even PLAY Guilty Pleasure.
I was mega bummed.
I was gonna do the dance!

They ended with Bring It, so Travis, and William came on the stage to sing they're parts.

I really don't know.
He was supposed to...
Maybe he was sick or something.
If you guys've heard the whole thing with Gabe being really sick.
And not playing at Eugene and everyone saying he was dead
[[totally untrue]]
He started being real sick in missoula.
So maybe Tyga got it too.
No one even brought him up....
Oh well.
