The new Jimmy Eat World (http://www.jimmyeatworld.com) album will be titled Futures and one of our forum members, Oxbig1106, pointed out in an earlier post that the album has been given a October 12th release date. Get excited.

I'm praying to the Lord i'm mistaken, but i've got this growing feeling that this cd will not even come close to rivaling any other music they've done. I suppose its just the fact that i gave clarity a 10 and bleed american a 5, but they're changing too much. I could be wrong, and i HOPE i'm wrong, but something is telling me i'm right.

They change their style for every album they've done. Listen to the pre-clarity stuff. I don't really like it as much as Clarity because it sounds like a different band all together. What I've heard so far of the new cd is somewhere in between Clarity and Bleed American.
