Rumor has it that Lucky from Jenoah has been "released" from the band and that they will have to cancel the rest of their tour dates.

Why couldn't this news have been something bad about Adelphi or Hellogoodbye? Jenoah is probably the only good new band that label has.

What is the source of this information?

The original source was Lucky himself. But damn this spread fast.

Yeah, Lucky is the source of the information and it is not a rumor. He was "released" (a nice way of saying fired) from Jenoah between 7-9 and 7-13. That was right before they were supposed to play in Texas but they can't without him and they've cancelled probably about 4 months worth of touring. For non-asshole people who give a shit about what he will go on to do and don't think he's a bitch (he happens to be one of the coolest guys ever) he will have a new band and an ep this winter probably and start touring. If you think it's good they let him go, well he is the writer and composer so what do you think they are gonna do without him? I have the answer: Cancel every thing and be on hiatus so have fun not seeing them live for a while and without one of the coolest people.

Thanks for answering my question =)
And you're very right -- Lucky is an awesome guy.

that sucks. they were the only potential bright spot among the garbage that composes nearly every new drive-thru band in the past few years. what did they fire him so they could make more label happy generic drivel that sells records to mindless kids?

I find it hilarious how 'against' drivethru records some people are.

Do something better with your time then rattle on and on about how "shitty" the bands and the label are.

There are far worse bands out there. Perhaps it's just jealousy that fuels all of this.

yeah, people bitch about Drive-thru ALL the time. Whenever someone tells me all the bands sound the same i want to guffaw in their face. It's completely ridiculous. I think people just say what others say cause if you listened to Senses Fail and found some great screamo and then listen to Rx Bandits which has horns and is skaish and then Something Corporate which is fairly mellow with the piano and then Jenoah which sounds like nothing on DTR (but does sound like Braid) then you have some nice TSL pop/punk all the way and finish it off with The EArly Nov: emo extremo and if you really listened to them and thought they were all the same then you are just fucking stupid. you can just look at some of the instruments dif bands play and know they are gonna put out a dif sound- Hgb's keyboards for example. I am a super DTR fan and i always defend them, or just ignore people who say ignorant stuff about the label.
