OMG. they're playing at the Armory up here in Albany, NY. this is coming together so perfectly. my favorite band. my favorite venue. and the most diverse yet solid support i've seen in a very long time. here's hoping Rise Against stays with the trend of playing just as much of their old catalog as they do new stuff. my stop is 2 days after the release of the new album, so it'll be interesting to see how their set reflects that. i expect alot of the staples, but i would LOVE some wildcards, maybe "Broken English or "Anywhere But Here". id crap my pants.

For some reason that doesn't surprise me. I love Alk3 as much as the next person, but they'd seem to be the weakest performers on that tour.

Saw the Nov 2 show at Hollywood Palladium.

Gaslight rocked. Loved their show, although the singer pretty much insulted all Californians at one point.
Alkaline Trio isn't my thing, so it's not very fair for my to critique them. More audience participation + greater reaction than Gaslight, but less than the next two bands. Personally, I couldn't wait for their set to be over.
Thrice was phenomenal. Absolutely great live. Played a really short set though.
Rise Against was amazing as well, though they played mostly old songs. I'm a newer fan and don't know much besides Sufferer and Appeal To Reason, so I didn't know a fair amount of their set. They only played 3 songs from Appeal (Re-Education, Hero of War, Collapse) and a few more from Sufferer (Good Left Undone, Ready To Fall, Prayer of The Refugee, Survive, and maybe one more I don't remember). LONG set though.

Overall, a great show. Thoroughly enjoyed it, minus the $20 parking. Thank you Hollywood.
