So I got the new Over It (http://www.overitonline.com) CD last nite. Yet it is still UNMIXED and UNMASTERED, this is going to be one of the top 5 albums. I promise you that.

HAHA I'm glad I make such an impact around here :)
I will still have to hear this for myself. And remember, I did admit to liking a Fall Out Boy song one time after hating them for so long.
But like I said, the only reason I speak my mind on this band is because
a. certain people around here treat them as if they were gods, when they have continued to suck.
b. they've fucking annoyed me to no end several times durring their horrendous live shows...I mean if you can't even put on a good show for your local audiences, come on! But even I admitted that the time I saw them with the Matches a few months ago, they had tightened up alot.
I hope to god they've improved, I really do. I love pop punk, hell I grew up on it, and it would be nice to have one less shitty pop punk band out there. All I gotta know is, if this is true, why did it take so long?

I've listened to Over It, because some people here recommended them. I didn't think they were anything special, but not suck. I have seen them live two times as a supporting band, like always I was glad when they were done. They use way too much distortian on their guitars, it drowns the singers voice live, I can't even hear him.
All I am saying, I am over Over It.

Besides the lame pun, I agree. They're good, just not godly like you guys make them out to be.

I'm confused why adoration for a band is always taken as us considering them "gods" or we are "sucking them off" or all this other bullshit. Do you ever talk to your friend about a band and he goes, "o fuck you, they're not as godly as you make them out to be" -- weird phenomenon.

due to this thread, i decided to give LBC a chance. Bossman is begging for a horn line, but is a solid song. I remember hearing Fred Astaire on the radio awhile, it's quite good. I heard Hey Driver on music choice, and that's a solid song too. LBC has one of the best lead singers (vocally) in pop punk that i've heard. so what are some other standout LBC tracks? This stuff is much better than over it.

One to the Right
Slip
23 (God Only Knows)
DejaVu
Broken
Mr Wilmington
Blame
Saturday Night
Those are my favorites, and probably their most solid, though I enjoy just about every song they have, except for Atari. Alot of their other songs are just plain fun, even if you don't like the party themes that show up in alot of them.
PS yea, the dude from Over It sings on Hey Driver (before Jason points that out again)
