Good bands, you say? Sorry, can't help you there. I deal exclusively in AWESOME bands, the MOST AWESOME being MUMRAH (www.mumrah.com) and CHET (www.chetsonfire.com). I love these bands to death. Sadly, they're dead now. No, hang on, I don't love them to death, I love them to a record deal! Ah, that's better, they're signed now. Next I'm going to love them to buying me a yacht.

this made me laugh... you sound like some rich asshole using bands to make you money... but hey I'm just guessing...

anyways... underoath, emery, dead poetic, greeley estates, color blind light, the format, limbeck, the postal service, daphne loves derby, the matches, every time i die, emanuel, a change of pace, a static lullaby, between home and serenity, saosin, the fastlane, the bank robbers... okay that should be enough for now.

I'm actually a very poor asshole who works his guts out to get those bands going somewhere...please check them out and help me become the rich asshole you think I am. I promise I will give most of my earnings to charity, starting with a lump sum to Emo Relief (a U.S.-based organisation dedicated to re-clothing and re-educating emo fans; please give generously).

I'm glad you think so, because I'm going to do it again. And again. And again! Until you are all my slaves!

MUMRAH is the last word in riffery, wizardry and good-humoured pronkery. Mumrah is also the last word in this sentence: "I wish I was less of a whinging loser and more like Mumrah". If progressive ska-punk-circus-hell is your bag, get your excitable giblets over to www.mumrah.com and download some free MP3s. If a badge-strewn backpack is your bag, you're probably a whinging loser and should be more like Mumrah.
CHETon the other hand, are deceptively poppy. Sure, there's sugar on the surface, but halfway through biting you realise you've actually got a mouthful of wriggling, worm-infested cack. Haha! The last laugh is on you, unless you realise that Chet are doing what the Pixies should be doing now - not cashing in on what was fresh ten years ago like a bunch of fat, cynical sellouts. Chet manage to be fat and cynical without even being famous, let alone selling out! www.chetsonfire.com is where we hoard MP3 versions of our synth-punk-drainpipe MAJESTY.

Miss these bands at your peril - I will personally mutilate your family pets if you resist the pull of these taste-magnets. Now, begone!

'Feeling left out'! Hahaha! Emo is such atrocious DOG-PLOPPER.

Come on - MUMRAH will take care of you. They'll help you put your warmest cardigan on, kiss you on the forehead and send you out with a flask of hot chocolate into the bright snow.
Clearly, Jeff Fractions is scared of ska. Why? Perhaps because he's heard Mumrah already, realised that they turned safe ol' dancey ska into a form of bizarrely effective aggression, and collapsed under the weight of his own preconceptions. The thing is, words will only go so far; without dancing about architecture here, the rest of you really need to go to www.mumrah.com to find out just how inventive and refreshing ska with a twist can be.

And Andy - I'm still a nice guy, it's just.....you shouldn't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. Grrr!

In the words of Mr. Michael 'I slept on the floor' Jackson, "don't stop 'til you get enough".
So far, only one person from this board has taken an interest in MUMRAH (www.mumrah.com). That is NOT enough. I will continue to bend my brain into all manner of peculiar shapes and contortions in coming up with these fancy words until MORE PEOPLE GET IT - www.mumrah.com, and while I'm at it, www.mumrah.com.

Glad you liked that, Hollie. Everyone is ganging up on me, boo-hoo...I feel an emo song coming on...AAAAARGH!

Yes, sorry about the unbearable lightness of doormat, but your CD will be on its way very soon, I promise - and if tonight's mixing goes well, it will have eight songs on it rather than the usual four! And it's STILL free! Wow. I'm off to reward myself with a good stern wank.

But before I go...

www.mumrah.com

Go there and find out just how ACE ska can be, when it's done properly, with just the right quantities of punk, prog, metal and opera thrown in. If you think ska sucks, you're listening to the wrong bands.
