You can check out a review of the Warped Tour (http://www.warpedtour.com/ ) from Rolling Stone where they call My Chemical Romance (http://www.mychemicalromance.com) the breakout band of the tour right here (http://warnerreprise.com/artist_newsletters/mychemicalromance/RSLIVEREVIEW.jpg)

Yay for people speaking out against Bush and Cheney...but let's get to the serious stuff here: Anyone know what Gerard has against videogames?

did that article have a lot of sarcasm in it? or was it just really poorly written, maybe not even poorly written as much as just written by a very uneducated person on the music we listen to. i love the closing line. i am going to end every post like that from here on out. punk rock!

Gerard's reference was made towards robots not so much video games and he was referring to the world becoming a bunch of robots and everyone following in the same exact pattern.

Oh, so Rolling Stone just kinda didn't quote him right or make it clear what he was saying? Go figure. I was gonna say...Claudio may have pissed off a bunch of Calgarians (that the proper nomenclature?) but Gerard would have lost a limb. Ha.
And that's what we like to call a joke...I'll be here all night. Try the beef.

Yeah, Rolling Stone sucks. Before they played Headfirst For Halos, Gerard talked about robots/machinery taking over mankind. Nothing to do with video games.
Heh, I remember Chad from NFG saying that. Man, I almost died that day. Vegas heat blows. Got my my first sunburn in years, thanks to Warped. ^__^

Completely figures. Music journalism is such a fuckin sham anymore. I'd like to become a music journalist, a good one, and try to fix things from the inside.
On the other hand...I lack motivation.

MCR is good, but could the fact that they were rolling stone's "breakout band" of the tour have anything to do with the fact that they signed to a major label?... Havent they already "broke out"?
