Hidden In Plain View have signed on with the FATA Booking Agency (http://www.fatabooking.com/) (whose website has a really cool live Halifax video on it). Congrats to the band. PS. Whoever called HIPV and left a message pretending to be me: you're an idiot. What's with all these impersonators now days?

you mean to tell me the band is on Drive Thru and they couldn't hook em up with a booking agent before this? i know Richard and Stef are big do-it-yourselfers, but if I were HIPV i'd be pissed about this.

This doesn't really seem like that big of a deal to me. Yeah it's cool if they have an awesome agent or something but i' ve seen them 4 times now and it seems like they keep busy just fine. I wouldn't really even be mad about it if i were them because they tour a lot so...maybe i don't know much about booking agents. shrug

i stole tates undergarments and smell them every night. I also have a dresser with sented candles around his picture, and a little hair doll. sometimes i put on those undergarments and prance around my room saying "im jason tate im jason tate".

^ in response to my own comment, this situation now makes a lot more sense. DTR will probably place all of their bands on FATA booking as soon as their contract with Geffen ends. Geffen was the one who supplied them with booking (i believe) and after their term with them is over, theyll need someone else to book (fata).

Record labels have nothing to do with booking agents, bands and managers are responsible for findign agents. Sometimes labels help find them but for the most part bands are on their own.
