Saw the trailer for this last night before Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I love Mark Ruffalo and Adrien Brody. This is definitely on my most anticipated list for the rest of the year.

Well, Brick had one of the most innovative scripts i've ever seen. Hopefully this is no different.

so I saw a preview of this last night, I don't want to give away too much but it reminded me of Arrested Development and Garden State in terms of style but who knows in a month when it's in theaters you may tell me I was way off

I do believe im going to the United Artists Tara Cinemas and The Ataris are playing at the masquerade on monday, so since im already coming that way I thought i'd check out the movie.

I've never been, I just know where it is and that they are usually playing pretty decent films.

Oh, i've been to the Masquerade a million times, but The Ataris put on a great show as always. I really liked the theater, it was huge probably the biggest one i've ever been in and I was surprised how full it got.

Saw the movie tonight. Absolutely loved it. I can see it being one of those movies that really grows on me with repeated viewings.

I finally saw this on Friday, absolutely loved it. Yeah it has a very Wes Anderson vibe, but in my opinion thats a great thing. It was parts extremely touching, laugh out loud funny, and had some cool action sequences. Adrien Brody was awesome of course the scene of him running down the hill smiling, after stealing the apple was beautiful and I was really impressed with Mark Ruffalo and Rachel Weisz, but Rinko Kikuchi absolutely stole every scene she was in. Probably my film of the years so far.

The one thing I kinda of get irradiated by the Wes Anderson comparison while being true is that it is still very much Rian Johnson's movie.

I need to see it again.

Finally saw this and predictably loved it. I thought Rachel Wiesz was incredibly precious in this (and I turned out to be entirely wrong about her character as she really was just THAT spacy), Rinko Kikuchi was bizarrely charming, and the ending was incredibly well done. Sometimes it may have verged on being overly twee, but the cast managed to pull it out in the end. I love the start to Rian Johnson's career.

Saw it for the second time yesterday. I took my girlfriend to see it and thankfully I had already seen it because it must have been amateur hour at the movie theater because the first seven minutes didn't have volume. I just filled her in with everything and then when the movie was over we got 2 free tickets to any movie of our choice.

I'm going to use one of those tickets to see Moon today.

This was really great. Rian Johnson wrote the four main characters perfectly. Rachel Weisz and Rinko Kikuchi were perfect for this.

I absolutely loved it. The ending blew me away and reduced me to tears, seriously, the last 10 minutes had me sobbing. Wonderful movie.

So - the big question I’ve been getting is why you cannot buy this disc yet. I don’t have a terrific answer, except that this is the way it’s being released, and it’s a release model that (like it or not) we’re going to see more of in the future. Basically, giving rental outlets an exclusive window gets more support from them, which means more discs on shelves, more promotion, etc.
The semi-good news is that the disc will be available for purchase on January 9th.

Watched this earlier tonight after seeing Brick yesterday. Really good and different, but I still enjoyed it. Ending was fantastic, and great characters like usual. Can't wait to see this guy's next movie.

Same here, everything about it was so ridiculously well done. It had a great script, great performances, wonderfully shot the scene where bloom runs away after stealing the apple is perfect
