As I said earlier, I had to leave Warped early because my grandma passed away. Anyway, I was in such a hurry that I left my friend with the camcorder I intended to shoot the Yellowcard interview with. This is the same camcorder I do all my interviews with, keep in mind. Anyway, some security guard spots my friend with the camcorder around his neck, and takes the tape. This tape contained my Steel Train, Straylight Run, and Fall Out Boy interviews. They are all lost now. I will say it again... This has not been my week. I am more sorry than you could ever know, especially to the bands who took the time out to do this and the fans who were looking forward to the interviews. I pretty much hate myself right now.

and..
why hasnt a decent security firm been started especially for tours, concerts and shows etc..? There is always bands and fans complaining about how tough security guards are. And i dont see why no-one has jumped at the oppurtunity to make this better.

they make a big deal out of video rules and such mainly because labels make such a big deal about it. and while it would be awesome to get the tape back, i don't see it happening. they usuallly just throw them away.

as everyone else has said, best of luck to you. I actually just lost my grandmother as well. Right before finals and graduation. It sucked bad. but I hope you can find comfort in something, and please take it easy. I hope next week is better for you.

losing family is a tough experience, my grandmother died the week after 9/11 and then her two sisters (who we would all visit at the same time) died within the next couple months. it's too bad that it has to be such negative things that put life back in perspective. i know it's rough that the interviews are gone, but no one should give you any crap about that. people are generally much more courteous than that. i hope you feel better and i'm sorry about your loss.

im also sorry to hear about the interviews, i know thats gotta suck to spend your time on something and then have it seem like it was just a waste. im sure the bands and the people ,anticipating the interview will understand though.

Hey man, look at it this way, maybe if you get some of the bands behind you the rule with cameras can change, don't think of it as your fault its the security guards fault for bein a dick...sorry to hear about the bad news...spend some time wit ur family and then head right back outthere...

I gave the press pass to my friend anyway--but there are several varieties of press pass, and mine didn't include video access.

yeah like everyone has said, dont worry about the interviews dude..eventhough im sure its impossible to not. but dont beat yourself up and feel like shit about something so insignificant right now because your family should be what matters most at this time.

Just remember that their only interviews and usually arent the first ones done for an interview so its not like there are some ground breaking news that was on the tape or anything so dont even worry about just surround yourself around things that make u happy. Spend time with your family and stuff and listen to some great music because thats what were all here for right? Is because of our love for music and the impacts its had on our lives and how much its helped us through the hard time. No one blames u and its clearly not your fault and security guards are dickless, heartless, and spermless gay pieces of crap that dont belong to have that job and dont even like the music. Anyways take care man feel better but dont listen to Park listen to good music that lifts u up :lol2:

not sure if you care, but i know Warrior. i am a producer for a talk radio station and i produced a test tape for him to get a show. he is crazy, a freak, and the whole 30 minute tape was a run on sentence filled with roid rage, words that don't exist, and some of the worst anaolgies i ever heard. it was the most unintentionlly funny shit i have heard in a long time. wrestling is definately not the only thing he sucked at. that said, i must've screened 35 calls all saying what an idiot this guy was and how they wanted to tell him to fuck off. so maybe on some wierd level, it worked. but i work for Cheap Channel, so he never had a shot in hell.

First of all, Sorry for the lost. My grandma just passed away in december of last year. When i heard the story that you lost the tape, it was kind of like when my mom accidently erased video shots on a tape from a trip to las vegas. It happens and it just sucks.

Haha, that's awesome! I've been to his website and it's insane! All his eighty page long rants about "Destrucity" and stuff. I guess it's like you said, all those years of steriod abuse have gone to his head.
I thought he was great when I was a kid though. It didn't matter that all he could really do was throw a punch and shake the ropes... Course if I watch one of his matches now it's like "What the hell? This sucks!".
He'll always have a special place in my heart (and as my avatar) though, that mad face-paint-wearing bastard...
