which one do you like better? i've listened to the postal service a lot and i love them, some people hate them but i'm a huge fan, but i still think death cab is great so i'm not really sure which one is better..but i wanted to know what you guys thought.

I prefer Postal Service only by the smallest bit, and that's cuz it's a little more varied. Plus, the female voices are a nice touch on the album.

I like Postal Service better. Death Cab is great, I just enjoy the Postal Service more in general.

well I would say Deathcab if I really really had to choose, but I dont think that its right to choose between the two. They arent the same band... they dont produce the same ideas, emotions, talent as one another. I think that they are different enough to not be able to choose.

i like death cab more than the postal service. i absolutely love death cab. amazing. i'm gonna see them for the second time this year at the bumbershoot festival on labor day.

as for the postal service, as much as i love them, DNTEL is much better. "life is full of possibilities" is one of my all-time favorite albums.

The first time I heard the Postal Service I didn't like it but my friend played it in his car the other night, it really grew on me.
But I'm going with Death Cab.
P.S. Ben Gibbard's cover of Against All Odds is awesome. You have to go on Kazaa to find the studio version but it owns.

anything ben gibbard touches is wonderful. i'd have to say death cab gets the slight edge because i know what to do when a death cab song comes on. when a postal service song comes on, i don't know whether to sob, dance, or both.

Ben Gibbard is just a brilliant musician. I would also recommend All-Time Quarterback, which is pretty much a Ben Gibbard solo project that was recorded mostly on a walkman with lots of different little intstruments. Also try his Home EP with Andrew Kenny. He has four great songs on that album as well. If you can't find these albums, you can IM me and I'll send them to you. They're must haves if you like DCFC and Postal Service.

As for which I like better, DCFC. Everyone says Photo Album is their best work, I personally prefer Something About Airplanes.
