Halifax got signed to Drive-Thru records. Man I came a long way with this band. I was there when no one knew about them. I think they don't fit on DTR's roster.

they are the only label that makes me cringe, if the band thinks this is a good idea, i hope they have a great lawyer behind them...i love this band too, it's so unfair...

DTR will be a totally different label after JUly 31st, so any previous judgements you've had on them shouldnt mean jack shit bc the label will be totally new after tomorrow.

Hahaha, it makes me laugh how all of you have it in your heads that any band who gets signed to Drive-Thru are going to get fucked over. If this was true, do you think bands would sign to Drive-Thru in the first place ? Yes, a couple of their bands have been fucked over, but that's the industry and the way it works, and just because a couple bands get fucked over since when does that automatically mean it's going to happen to every band on the label ?
Did the RX Bandits get screwed over ? No.
Did New Found Glory get screwed over ? No.
Did The Starting Line get screwed over ? No.
Has Socratic, Jenoah, Adelphi or Hellogoodbye been screwed over ? No.
Now shut up.

I don't see why this should upset anyone. As long as the band doesn't change...

i'm only upset because i've heard all the rumors and what not that Drive Thru apparently screws over their bands in the contracts or whatever...i dunno. I'm not even sure if it's true. But if it is, i'm sorry for Halifax. hopefully they can feed off of Drive Thru's popularity, become big on their own, and then move on to another label.
