here's some of the bands i've been listening to alot in case anyone might want some new bands to hear:

daphne loves derby - www.purevolume.com/daphnelovesderby - i just found this band the other day on the front page of purevolume...i listened to "come winter" and it is such an amazing acoustic song. most of the songs on their page are more mellow acoustic or piano songs, and there's also a couple with the full band. all the songs are great, check them out if you're into stuff like the early november or older dashboard.

aberdien - www.purevolume.com/aberdien - someone on this site recommended this band, so i checked them out and you won't find too many better pop-punk bands. they have a harder edge than most pop-punk bands, but they can also play some happy, bouncier stuff too. check them out if you like over it or fall out boy.

punchline - www.purevolume.com/punchline - probably my favorite band. in my opinion, the best pop-punk has to offer. when i first heard "open up" on the fueled by ramen site around the beginning of the year, i was hooked. i ordered their full-length "action" and you literally can't skip any song on the album; the songs are all very catchy and sing along. i've seen punchline in my area 3 times, they can put on a great show. i've had this cd since about february and i still havent gotten sick of listening to it. they also have a couple bonus songs on their purevolume page that are great different versions of songs on "action". definetely check this band out if you're into any pop-punk.

staring back - www.purevolume.com/staringback - amazing band. i'm not too sure why this band isn't bigger. their last full length "on" is a great cd. currently they don't have a lead vocalist, but solo musician greg wood is filling in for warped tour and things like that. it's hard to describe staring back's sound, they are something you have to hear to understand how good they are. if you can ever find "on" at a record store, buy it and you won't be sorry. or download it, just get their music.

greg wood - www.purevolume.com/gregwood - greg used to be in a band from conneticut called west beverly, but after they broke up he went with a solo career. i've seen him a few times in my area, he puts on an AMAZING show. basically, what he does is play a part on guitar, then record it with his big set of pedals, and then do a beat with his mouth, and then sing over all that and/or play/record more guitar or vocal parts. it's something amazing to watch. his recordings are great to listen to as well, good mellow mood kind of stuff. check him out if you're into any acoustic stuff or just looking for a new thing in music.

well thats what i'm recommending now...tell me what you think. thanks
