its alright...all the drinking and smoking makes it seem realistic, just a bit boring and lacking in any depth.

They also nominated Two and Half Men (obv. not in the same category.)
I think the Emmys just seem to back mainstream shows, if you have a show on a primetime slot it will get nominated, (but overcourse this is where most of the best shows are).
But I would like to see Its Alawys Sunny in Philideplphia or some other less known shows (I could be wrong and Its Alawys could have been nominated/won before)

Yeah, but think of all the shows on tv that are just terrible...I like it because it's very subtle.

mad men isn't exactly "mainstream" and its ratings were pretty poor during its first season
