story... yesterday my little sister who is five years old was telling me about her new kidsbop cd (for those of you who havent seen the commercials its little kids singing pop songs) and she said, "in one of the songs they say 'girls dont like boys they like cars and money boys will laugh at girls when theyre not funny' but that isnt true, girls do like boys dont they? i like boys and im a girl" my other sister who is 15 and i laughed our asses off

Personally I'm pretty psyched about their new album. Benji and Joel are such great artists and keep me (as well as everyone else) captivated with their great meaningful lyrics. Things would only be better if this became a double CD. You don't know how jazzed I'd be for that. But other than that, yeah I can't think of more bs to write.

funny how most of the people who bash good charlotte are gonna end up wanting to hear the album anyway so they can either bash them some more, or give in to their good charlotte addiction that they've been covering up for 2 years.
ill admit i want to hear the new stuff and see if they made any progression since the last album, which did in fact suck, and if i dont like it, i dont like it. im not gonna sit there and make fun of them because its what im supposed to do.

I will admit that I do lkie the first album, but the new one was terrible and manufactured so I really have no interest in them anymore. I almost forgot about them, then they got posted again on here...

yeah i wasnt trying to be mean and im glad you didnt take it to heart like most people on this site probably would have. i dont really have a problem with them except they wrote one catchy song and deserved their 15 minutes of fame, but still get played in 1 out of every 3 teen movies that come out. Ive seen that harold and kumar preview like 5 times and i am tired of that song for good. sorry to rant.
fuck it, i'd give the new album a listen. besides, who cares what i listen to it doesn't effect anyone else but me.
when you ignore whatever role any band has in pop culture / mtvland / whatever the hell, you're just left with music. it's up to you to decide whether you choose to enjoy that music or decide you don't like it - and that's that, whether it's good charlotte or the beatles.

te first cd had good songs, then they started writing awful material about being famous and stuff and the video..well, they kinda sucked too but maybe this time around the cd will be better (hopefully) than the last one

Hahahaha, that's awesome. And I'm pretty upset at GC's direction in their careers, so I'm still bitter about that. Who knows. Im just tired of seeing Joel and Benji looking like tools in teen girl mags.
