This statue once stood, for everything we used to be
But now its crumbled, like 1453,
They never gave up, those Byzantiums
Never gave up, but right now its lookin that way

I cant believe something like this has come in our way

Jagged rocks below,
Covered with crimson
Of where i fell before

Shes like a cargo cult
Flew in from above, and had her eyes set on something more than just love
Now shes with you everyday, were not talking anymore
I did not see this coming one year ago

But thats what life is, yah thats how it goes,
Before i go on my path, ill dig two graves in this snow
