I just went to this last night in Atlanta, overall it was a pretty good show but it was also kinda dissapointing.

It started with Arsonists Get All The Girls who were amazing they had alot of energy and i haven't seen them before (but I have been wanting to for a long time now). It was really cool how they were constantly switching between vocalists. I definitely recommend seeing them, I talked to them and they are all awesome dudes. Some songs they played (I can't remember all of them):

Cuffed to Your Ankles
Shoeshine for Neptune
Scobra Vs Cupcake
Game Of Life

Then After the Burial played, and they were decent, they put on a pretty good. Their music is generic as fuck and their breakdowns all sound the same but they were fun to watch. They played:

Rareform
Berzerker
Aspiration
A Steady Decline
(thats all I remember)

Then It was Abigail Williams and they sucked. I couldn't get into their music at all.

Then Winds of Plague came on and they played well but their drummer apparently (according to the keyboardist who I talked to after the show) stole their money and took off or something like that. So they are on the tour without a drummer but some other drummers from other bands filled in. But they still were only able to play 3 fucking songs, that is ridiculous. They played:

Anthems of the Apocalypse
The Impaler
Decimate the Weak

Then Stick to Your Guns was suppose to be next but their van broke down and couldn't make it to the rest of the tour dates which sucks, I was mainly looking forward to them because they always put on a fun show.

I didn't watch Arsis or Daath, not into them at all.

Watched Misery Signals, they were ok, I wasn't amazed, I just don't like their music all that much.

Parkway Drive came on and they rocked that shit, it was pretty amazing, everyone went nuts and the pit was pretty crazy. They put on a really good show. But here is what they played not entirely in order:

Boneyards
Gimme AD
The Sirens Song
Guns For Show Knives For A Pro
Feed Them To the Pigs
Carrion
Romance Is Dead

They played at least one more but I can't remember at all right now what it is.

I didn't stay for Darkest Hour, I'm not really into them and I have seen them once before and was not impressed.

Anyway, overall it was a good show but not as good as it could of been if Winds Of Plague played a full set and Stick to Your Guns showed up. But the best bands of the night were Arsonists Get All The Girls and Parkway Drive so definitely check them out.

The one good band in that entire list and you leave?

Rookie mistake.

Haha, I knew I was gonna get shit for that. I would have probably stayed but everyone else I was with wanted to leave so thats the way it went. I had seen them before and like I said I just wasn't impressed, so whatever.

Musically the only band that stands out on that bill was AGATG everyone else is pretty generic.

What is Darkest Hours best album? I tried listening to them but I couldn't get into it, maybe I will try again.

Worst tour ever.

My band played with this tour package because Robot Mosh Fest 2008 pretty much WAS just this tour package. So much of the same band playing under a different name all day, minus a select few that actually stood out. A couple bands were well executed, but for the most part it was just the same moshy, techy metalcore with random death metal and singing parts.

Whatever man, you may not like their music but they were the most original band on the tour as far as not being the same deathcore/metalcore band that everyone is doing today and they put on a great show. You can't judge this band till you see them live (f you have seen them live then whatever.... agreed to disagree)

Abigail Williams (imo) were terrible, they are completely unoriginal and they just didn't have a good live show at all, I couldn't get into it. Daath was just bulshit deathmetal and I just can't get into that.

every single band on this tour is amazing in my opinion even abigail williams, they played upstairs at the palladium and wrecked it prob one of the best bands that night besides parkway drive. Kinda bummed the palladium had two stages running at the same time because motorhead headlined so i didn't get to see the whole sets of after the burial, arsis, stick to your guns or misery signals, luckily after the burials coming back w/ emmure, and misery signals w/ bring me the horizon and i've seen the other two already and i know they'll prob come back eventually
