Yeah, I heard a 20 sec clip of them, and they don't seem bad at all. I just hoped they didn't lump with Adelphi and Socratic, which I thought they did at first.

Adelphi and Socratic? Lump in with them? I don't understand how those two bands get lumped together at all. Socratic has a totally unique sound going. Adelphi and Halifax lump in well together, as talentless sores that continue to scar the face of underground music.
I guess Socratic is too hard to understand, because they're influenced just as much by classic rock as they are by contemporary music.
But I forgot, you stupid fucking kids can't like a pop-punk or emo band unless they encourage you to mosh it up to their cheesy music (which has no mosh parts by the way - no two step parts or breakdowns), as they sport a stupid mohawk with a full head of hair, Diesel jeans and a tight shirt of a hardcore band (which that band itself is most likely shitty and very popular).
Ugh, each time I discuss this shit, I just think of the great bands that paved the way for this underground to continue, and how bands like Adelphi and Halifax continue to piss all over their legacy with their stupid, trendy bullshit. I'm talking about Fugazi, The Replacements, Husker Du, R.E.M., Mudhoney, the Goo Goo Dolls, Sunny Day Real Estate...all smeared by bullshit.

You talk about how shitty Adelphi and Halifax are and how they disgrace the work of those other bands. But you like Socratic who easily put on one of the most boring shows I've ever seen. Their music is uninspired and lazy compared to Halifax and Adelphi.
