An amazing rediscovery for me today!
Some of the harmonies this band comes up with on this album are amazing. The flat out raw, pissed off parts are awesome as well.
Great production, and a lovely sense of diversity flowing through the album.
Discuss.
get up you son of a bitch, cause mickey loves ya

I have never listened to this CD, but I've heard such great things. I need to look into it.

I liked it in about 9th grade, maybe 10th grade, can't remember. If you are past a certain point of musical maturity, it's just not good anymore.

I used to like it too, but I sold it.

This isn't as good as the bands other two efforts.

Oh hey, thanks. Didn't even notice. Yea, I just don't think they were very good past their first album, but I sorely outgrew them.

The only good record they ever made.
This album is perfect. Still listen to it all the time.

I loved this when it came out. The follow up was better, though. Don't listen to any of their stuff these days.

What?! Really?

Yeeeeeeep. Not saying Pass The Flask wasn't awesome or anything, but Found In The Flood was such a step forward IMO. Most people obviously disagree, though.
hmmmm... maybe I need to revisit that album. But, I doubt it will beat PTF for me. I read a review for Pass The Flask before it came out in Revolver and they gave it a perfect score. They called it a perfect album. I bought it the day it came out and completely agree with the review.

I got it a few weeks prior to release because I saw them w/ A Static Lullaby (lol). Good shit.
I think if you listen to Found In The Flood now (assuming your taste has changed from when you were 17-18 and PTF was the hot shit) you'll like it a lot more. It was a shock to some because it was way "out there" compared to most metalcore/other bands The Bled got lumped in with.
Yeah, totally agree with that.
They do get lumped with a lot of shitty bands. But I have always put them in with more melodic bands like Poison the Well anyway.

If I put it on now, it would be purely for nostalgia.

Sucks that they totally regressed with the last album.
Ya, that thing sucked hard. Can't even remember the name of it. It was what everyone wanted after Pass The Flask if I recall correctly, only nobody cared.
Interesting situation with that band, if they are still together/planning to record I'd be interested to see what they do on a new record.
