so at their show last night, they played three new songs. one was called "faith in fast cars", one unnamed, and one was "if your name is jen, please don't be offended."

faith in fast cars rules. i dont remember a lot of the lyrics but he said he wrote it about a girl he had really loved and then she moved to california and got "weird." anyways, some of the lyrics were...

"california opened up your legs."

"i can only see you naked because that's all you're good for." (i think if the entire crowd could have done a collective "aw, snap!!", it would have been after that line)

"i want you to die."

amazingly bitter song. jesse lacey would have been proud. i can't wait for their new EP to come out. (they start recording it today btw)

they started recording it on monday, they played a show tuesday night, are resting at home for a week or so, and will continue recording next week. it will be out in october.

That's awesome. I can't wait. I love them. What's really sad is that they are from Phoenix (I live in the Phoenix area) and play here a lot but I've never seen them.

I don't think so.
I remember reading something about one of them going to some high school in Phoenix. But Tempe is right next to Phoenix so that could be true.
