I read in Kerrang that in Russia they were going to ban 'Emo' & 'Goth'. Anyone who appeared to look like either would not be allowed into schools, libraries, public places etc. Apparently its 'a crucial part' in the behaiviour of an emo/goth to consider suicide. Its so f*cked up. Why not just make a national uniform since 'punk' and 'metal' are gona be next >:( I think they went too far with this! There are bigger issues to deal with, rather than worry how someone dresses. Here's the link :

I wouldn't trust Kerrang as a viable source...

Interesting.

As amusing as this is, censorship born of misunderstanding and paranoia is never a good thing. I have seen similar views espoused in a certain English joke of a newspaper, it made me want to throttle the delusional f*ckwits (partly for their incredibly poor journalism).

As annoying as these trends are, banning people from dressing they way they want is stupid and suppressive, especially when they aren`t hurting anyone.

^ agree.

The trend is stupid, but these laws are just as dumb.

i like how the joke account OP said "well why don't we have national uniforms", ignoring the fact that all fashion/trends are a form of uniforms.

i mean seriously, my bro little brother puts just as much work into his "casual" clothes before he goes out as a military man spends making sure his military dress uniform is perfect.
