The Used

Today after reading about The Used's new album, I decided to go up to my room and listen to their debut self titled cd and i thought to myself, "what is so wrong with this band?" "why doesn everyone hate them?" I'm not trying to get bashed, I'm just curious (for those of you that hate them) why do you hate the used? They went through hell to get where they are now, and then they get shit from everybody in the "scene". Just curious..

i fucking love the used. i haven't got their album, but i have downloaded the songs. and i'm gonna get their album soon. i love the songs "blue & yellow", "poetic tragedy" and "buried myself alive"
great band in my opinion.

I like them- I usually listen to them in the car.
they do have good songs and the lyrics are great too.
Can't wait to get new stuff...I've heard some and it's great.

i know the topic has mostly shifted to fucking famous people but to answer the question one thing i dont like about the used is that berts really annoying live, but ive never bashed them for it and i still enjoy listening to them.

Also I have to agree with shelly about the whole kelly/bert thing. For me, who a person in a band dates has no bearing on whether I like the band or not. I will not dislike a band just because I may happen to dislike the person a member of that band is dating.
