rise against are the best punk band out there at the moment.

If I wanted to listen to pop punk I would listen to New Found Glory. I listened to Rise Against because they were great at making hardcore punk. They've lost their edge with this album.

yeah it less hardcore...but the melodies are so great.

My point is that I loved the hardcore edge in their music, and with this album they lost it. That is what I as trying to illustrate.
Perhaps it is my fault because my expectations were too high.

don't get me wrong, i liked their last cd better, but i was kind of expecting a change like this. they pulled it off. it rocks, in my opinion.

don't get me wrong, i liked their last cd better, but i was kind of expecting a change like this. they pulled it off. it rocks, in my opinion.
Yeah I just finished listening to it. It's not as good as the first cd. But not bad either...I'll be buying it

Name one valid reason to say they've "lost their edge" with this album. GO.

The fact that you called this pop punk and alluded to making a New Found Glory comparison is enough to never take you seriously again.
