Won't vote. To be honest, no politician can change the fact that I never get laid, work at best buy and still live in my mothers basement, so I'll probably just stay home and arrange my star trek collectables instead...

I think McCain will win, but I'll probably go for Obama, just depends on who his running mate will be.

I'll vote for Obama as well but I think McCain will win. There are pros and cons to both but I still believe that Obama will be a "different" kind of politician. I know the polls show otherwise and that Obama has a slight edge but I think that will change come November. I think a majority of the public is still worn out over the Clinton/Obama race so things are sure to change a bit when everyone is back into this thing.
As much as they don't want this race to be based on "race", they keep bringing it up a lot. You also have to realize that there is a large chuck of America that still has a problem with non-whites and that they will have more of a reason to vote against Obama than the rest of the population has to vote for Obama. We'll see how it all pans out. I think Obama is a great man and we need something fresh.
What is the worst that could happen? Even without experience, he will have the democratic Congress to help him out as well as his cabinet and the rest of his staff. On top of that, the people. That is the best part of living in a democracy. Our leader now may have experience, but he has made some ridiculous decisions against the will of the people. I do not see that sort of action from Obama. It seems that he is more prone to bending at the will of the people, as it should be.
Coming at you from the liberal California bubble, I'm Kyle Starr.

Harvey Dent.
Can't stand either Obama or McCain.
I second Arthur Dent. Maybe Dirk Gently will run with him.

I'll go with a serious answer now.
I don't really like either of them, but I'd rather have Obama in the White House. I lean to the left, so it makes sense, but what I really like is the fact that he is so loved around the world. We desperately need to improve our image abroad, and McCain would only hurt us in that area. Plus I like Obama's youthfulness. I'm not delusional enough to believe that he would be anything other than the typical politics-by-the-book president, but he has the advantage of being from a different generation than most current politicians, and hopefully that means he won't fall back on the same played out Cold War era bullshit that has been ruining our government for years now.
As for McCain, he's a sellout plain and simple. Years ago he was someone who was willing to challenge his party and his president and was willing to cooperate with the other side to accomplish things. Then a little birdie told him if he changed his ways he could get the nomination, and for the past few years he's been permanently attatched to Bush's crotch. We seriously don't need another term of this crap, but I have even less respect for him than for Bush and his cronies, just because I know McCain was at one point in time capable of being a decent human being.
But all that being said, Obama hasn't won me over yet, and a lot of it will depend on who he picks as a running mate. If I don't like his choice, I might have to go with Nader again :-p

Obama.
I'm not sure, I went with Dent because of this. I'm really going to have to watch and read this time around. I'm registered as a Democrat, but I'm always going to vote for whoever I think is better for the job regardless. I've been shying away from paying attention recently, which is wrong, I need to get back into reading and watching because this shit is obviously important.

Nobody's going to hurt us worse than Bush. I could be wrong though, I also said that Bush's second term couldn't possibly be worse than his first. I was too much of an optimist. I did vote Kerry though.

I dunno, I think McCain has potential to be worse. He's basically like Bush v. 2.0 these days, but he's even more hawkish, if that's possible. We'll end up attacking Iran the day after he gets inaugurated.

Its because i rarely check back to see if someone gave me attention, which you do with such anticipation every day, right along with driving to best Buy every morning.

for someone supposedly apathetic to attention, you sure prompt a lot of personal attacks. but i digress. i'm not in the habit of picking internet fights with people from my home town either, so take care...
