What were your favorite cartoons from back in the day?

I loved Hey Arnold and Doug. Rocko's Modern Life was hilarious.
I must also admit, when it was at its biggest, I was also a fan of Pokemon haha.

i just can't take animes anymore. I mean i could only take those from 80's (btw...anyone here ever watched Guntz? Disguntzing!)

there was a cartoon, back in 90's...the plot was set in the future, where most of earth's population was mutant...and there was this team that played almost evey sport imaginable...and no matter if their bones were broken, their heads taken off, they could always recover and play again...the 'hero' was a kinda of mix of a zombie + Cobra Plinsky + Joey Ramone...just don't remember the bloody name of it...but it was kinda cool.

who remembers Bikers Mice from Mars? what a crazy stuff.

i remember many kids and teens, contemporary to me (like 15-17 years old) just LOVED Darkwing Duck. it was hell cool, specially that alternate reality episode.

I'm just fanatic for 80's things. M.A.S.K., Galaxy Rangers, Pole Position, Silverhawks, ..even Jen was cool...good ol' times. there was that cartoon, damn I forgot the name...a squad of four members, each one with a suit of a different color and atributes...they transformed while in action, so their suits had these holes and their pieces and guns and armours came teleported and attached to them...there was the blue guy, with the skills and equipment of a F-15, the yellow one, the leader, who could turn into a bike...it was hell cool, too.

I'll admit to owning the Rugrats movie, which is scary because it came out in '98 and I was.. what.. 11?

But I was browsing TV the other day and it was on, and it was the scene in the hospital with babies pissing like fountains into the air. It didn't sit well with me at 21, haha.

Back then, though. That was the height of hilarity. I remember seeing an episode of Tiny Toons in elementary school and an anvil randomly fell on someone . . . and I laughed for a whole fucking week. No joke.

I wish things were still that funny, now.

damn I forgot Freakazoid. I loved to watch it, some years ago, at WB channel. good'ol times remembered.

i feel those cartoon writers or their studios respected kids much more back in 90's and 80's. well, cartoons are pretty smart now, scripts are more elaborated...but this is because kids are smarter, they got much more information in their hands - blame Internet (knowledge brings fear). but a 8-years old kid back in the 80's hadn't the half of information a present days 8-years old kid has. so those cartoons were a little too 'advanced' for their age but they made kids think. for while, in the end of 90's and early 2000's, cartoons got a little dumbed down, I think. (gosh I can't believe Pokemon was ever aired).

I dont know if anyone remembers this one, but I used to watch Bionic Six all the time. It was a group of teens who had bionic powers. I think it was on Fox. I remember Saturdays used to be all cartoons in the morning, and I would love to wake up and just catch whatever was on. I tend to stick to the classics, Gi Joe, Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers.
