View Full Version : Schools in or very close to NYC?
I want to transfer to a school in the city but I'm not sure which one.
I need one with a journalism major (most likely) and the school can't be TOO selective in accepting transfers as I didn't do exceptionally my freshman year (I didn't do poorly by any means, but I didn't do extremely well).
I was thinking Pace in NYC but that campus doesn't offer journalism.

I have a lot of friends who go to Pace and are in love with the school. I go to NYU, but wouldn't recommend it unless your family is rich. Mine is not and I'm going to be about $150,000 in debt when I get out. Their journalism program is top notch, though.

I'd recommend posting here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/
Those guys are very knowledgeable about this stuff.

he said the school can't be too selective, I'm not sure an ivy League school is what he has in mind, haha.
