Brand New (http://www.brandnewrock.com) wanted everyone to know that no one in the band has any account with such sites as LiveJournal, MySpace, etc. So if you run across someone on these type of sites saying they're in the band, then they're lying. Simple as that. You can read the statement in the replies.

Being that the internet is built for access and has given millions of very bored people something to do, we would just like to take a moment to clarify the following. None of the members of BrandNew have any kind of personal sites connected with Livejournal, Myspace, Friendster, Emodreamdiary, Deadjournal, Myspacester, Friendspace, Screamoqueenspacester, Punchmeinmyheadjournal or Whitebeltsstillleavebruises.com.
There ARE some forums hosted by certain fans on some of these sites, and we would like to take a moment to express our gratitude to anyone who has taken even a moment out of their lives to pass on our music to someone else. These things do not go unnoticed by us, and we are always very thankful.
On the other hand, anyone actually claiming to BE one of us on said websites is lying and we just wanted to tell you cause we know you guys are some of the most rabid, and intense, fans on the planet, and god forbid one of these imposters tells one of you guys to chop your little finger off as proof of your loyalty or something and you actually do it. Then you are minus a finger cause some lonely individual has nothing better to do than to pretend to be someone in a rock band that really doesn't sell that many records anyway.

So watch your backs, pray for us, and be assured that all forms of communication will flow directly from THIS site. Which is why we pay to have it hosted. You need go no further.

This rant was brought to you collectively by the four members of BrandNew who all love each other very much and who are currently working very hard on bringing you a new and beautiful website, a new and graceful album, and hopefully, a new way to look at the world around you.

I talked to vin accardi at the Finch show last night (on Long Island) and he said they havent written that much at all for the new record. He also said it may come out a lot later than previously expected. Which kinda sucks. Ben (lead singer) of From Autumn to ashes and the guitarist from Glassjaw were also there and I managed to talk to them both. They didnt tell me anything "news worthy" though, Cool dudes none the less. I love LI shows because I know I'll see atleast a few members from other LI bands at them. this place rocks ass.

arcadiansky, was the bassist from anterabbe there barking orders at everyone like he always does because he works there? Im surprised Jesse wasnt at that show, ive seen him at a lot of shows lately. So much that when i went to see mae, people were lined up at the vip door, to possibly see him....he wasnt there that night they are just all retarded haha
