Thrash upon Thrash

Heres another poem from me even though no one commented on my last one. Oh well...wrote this in english class while someone was sayin shit about me right behind me. After I wrote it I told them i'd pop them good and they shut-up. Everyone knows I do tae kwon do so i guess they figured I hurt em good. It still hurt though, but i'm used to it.

Your words hurt my heart,
feeling like I migh explode,
as if I was a bomb,
waiting to go off.
I try to block out the words,
but its impossible,
word upon word,
thrash upon thrash on my heart.
I cant escape it,
minds gone blank,
empty stare,
out into nowhere.
Empty just like I feel,
as every word is spoken,
as every mouth moves,
I get closer and closer to doom.
Yet everyday I get up,
put on my fake smile,
take each hit,
each thrash,
and go on.

Ya know I haven't blocked you yet and i'd like to reply to this one...I have alot of friends and I dont have pain cause i'm some outcast...dont you think you'd write about pain if your mother has beat you since you where 6?? What if you got raped when you where 8 by some perverted doctor?? Thats just the tip of the iceberg of my life. So no i'm not some angst drama-queen...if you had my life you'd write stuff like that too. Thanks paid for takin up for me.

But I disagree with it being "bad"; I don't believe that there is such a thing as bad poetry, just false emotion.

Personally, i believe that introspection can be one of the more valuable virtues among humanity. If you feel the need to disclose each one of your aches and feel-bads to everyone, I'm afraid you've lost my respect.

I'm tryin to make a point...some people just need to leave other peoples poetry alone unless there coming to make a good comment or help on better poetry...not insults...I would never bost about my pain because if anyone could take it away i'd be more then happy...

Cripes why so much hate?! Now, the poem at hand may not be the best in the world, but that doesnt mean that people should get on this forum and bash the author for their so called "lack of talent". I do understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion blah blah blah. But the fact that this person had the guts to write down their emotions and share it with others is admirable, and my hat goes off to them. Why would you put someone down just because you feel the content of their expression doesnt reflect your own taste in what is good and what isnt? I just dont get it. This also goes to show that you shouldnt open your mouth if you dont know the whole story i.e. childhood experiences. Why cant we all just play nice and get along?
