Does anyone else find them to be completely rebellious to the purpose of music?
When I listen to a song I like to create my own image based off the story told in the song, I don't want some corporate mogul to create it for me.
Does anyone else agree with me or at least empathize me and my inability to properly live in the 21st century?

They're like movie adaptations of books in that sense; it depends how well they are done and how close they are to your interpretation of the song.

I was going to add that in my little paragraph but I was too lazy, haha. Thanks for doing it for me!

In Japan they call music videos "PVs", AKA "Promotional Videos."
That's all it is really.
There are some really dumb videos out there that really ruin my vision of a song.
But every now and then there is that one gem.
