Maybe they're not very bright and believe the option to be the original Hitchcock Psycho.

Good Will Hunting. Easy. Instant Classic.

Psycho is clearly the only correct answer.

Looking at this list, I think it's so weird how you can group Van Sant's current crop of films (the upcoming Milk not included) in three distinct categories:

Independent: Mala Noche, Drugstore Cowboy, My Own Private Idaho
Studio: Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, To Die For, Good Will Hunting, Psycho, Finding Forrester
Experimental: Gerry, Elephant, Last Days, Paranoid Park

I never noticed that before. I have a feeling Milk will be combining the first two categories, though.

My dad sent me this, and I thought people in here would really enjoy it. Didn't see the need to create another thread for it, though. It's a list of about 50 movies, with a screenshot from each, and all the faces whited out. You enter the movie title, and it tells you if you are correct or not (Hint: for something like LOTR or Star Wars, enter JUST the title of that movie, nothing else):

I've always meant to see Good Will Hunting but never got around to it. So I voted for Drugstore Cowboy.

That is a great movie. Made me appreciate Matt Dillon a whole hell of a lot more.

I've only seen Elephant, and it wasn't very good. I mean I understand that he used real kids, but man that acting was so bad. At any rate, I've never seen Good Will Hunting, but I really want to.

I've yet to see Paranoid Park but only have heard good things about it, but... GWH.

Great poll, TJ.

Good Will Hunting is mine followed by Elephant.

And I loved Paranoid Park. All of his movies are pretty good. He's one of my favorite directors.

He's got a good chance at finally getting an Oscar for Milk I think. I can't wait for that movie.

I was thinking it was December 5 but I'm not sure.

Great cast.

Sean Penn, Emile Hirsch, James Franco, Josh Brolin, Diego Luna.

Penn is amazing in everything.

I agree, he's such a perfect actor for the role. Have you heard Milk's, "If a bullet should enter my brain then let it shatter every closet door" qoute? He was a really interesting guy. It's the first gay film since Brokeback and it certainly has some great people behind it, I expect it to be pretty big.

Indeed it is. Penn is the perfect actor for the role and I can see Brolin as Dan White really well too.

Well, I didn't think that show was all it was cracked up to be, but that's on the same level as Pineapple Express.

It doesn't take much to do what he did in Freaks & Geeks; I hold that on the same pedestal as what he's doing in Pineapple Express. It's entertaining, yes, but I can't really use that work to label or support him as a great, or even good, actor. He's, for the most part, especially on film, downright terrible.

Spider-Man 3 was oscar worthy. That man got snubbed.

I just think he's a cool dude so thats why I brought up F&G.

I don't think he's all that bad honestly.
