A Spartan Close Call

Sparta drummer Tony Hajjar was injured August 8 during daily intramurals with tourmates Incubus. With Hajjar under doctor's orders not to pick up his drumsticks for at least a week, Sparta was prepared to drop off the remaining dates. Fortunately, Incubus drummer Jose Pasillas and bassist Ben Kenney have stepped in to share drumming duties until Hajjar can return or a temporary replacement is found. The Incubus/Sparta tour ends August 18 at the L.A. Forum. Hajjar looks forward to rejoining his bandmates by that time or immediately thereafter. Sparta's new album Porcelain is in stores now.

Sparta is fucking amazing. if you listen to there old stuff maybe? youd think they were great. poreclain is, terrific as well. check them outtt.

I don't think Incubus has ever disappointed me. "Megalomaniac" disappointed at first but when I heard how good the rest of "Crow Left Of The Murder" was, it didn't really matter.
