Wall-e made me uncontrollably and audibly sob in the middle of the theater. It absolutely killed me, and then subsequently made me joyously happy.

Other than that-

Forrest Gump
Return of The King
Fellowship of The Ring
Garden State
Castaway
Good Will Hunting
Atonement
The Shawshank Redemption

08/03/08, 10:35 AM
The Shawshank Redemption
About Schmidt
Braveheart (in a totally manly way)
The Two Towers (in the end during Sam's speech)
The Return of the King

There are many more but I don't remember them all at the moment...

Edit: I do remember getting a little teary eyed in I Am Legend when Will Smith had to kill his dog even though I didn't really like the movie.

My eyes definitely welled up along with Chris' when they told him to "come back tomorrow," followed by him leaving the office/building. That entire scene was some damn fine acting. Well done Big Will.

In Fellowship of the Ring when Sam tries to follow Frodo but he can't swim, and it shows his hand and then Frodo's comes down and grabs it...that gets me choked up everytime. And in ROTK at The Grey Havens when Frodo leaves, that always gets me.. In fact that's probably my favorite scene from any movie.

Even though The Pursuit Of Happyness was sad, I felt they tried too hard to make it sad. Honestly, the whole movie was very depressing, and it just got sadder and sadder as the movie went on. Even by the end, there was always something bad going on. It seemed like there were no high points in the entire movie. But maybe that's just me.

I never used to cry in movies, but I guess in this past year I've gotten a lot more emotional.
Anastasia made me cry. The scene when she's singing Once Upon A December, and the ghosts of her family are dancing around her. I don't know what it was, but something about it got to me.

I watched A Little Princess yesterday, and oh my god I was crying like a baby. Let's count the parts that made me cry:
1. When Sarah is saying goodbye to her father when her leaves her at the school.
2. When Miss Minchin tells her that her dad died.
3. When Miss Minchin takes her locket.
4. When Sarah sees the old man next door find out that his son died.
5. When she draws the circle around herself to sleep in.
6. When she's laying in the attic saying, "Papa, I'm scared".
7. When she tells Becky that magic isn't real.
8. When she's talking to Lottie about angels.
9. When Sarah is hiding in the old man next door's house.
10. When she realizes that her dad is still alive
11. When sheruns up ot her dad saying "Papa it's Sarah! It's me, Sarah!" but he doesn't remember, and the police men are dragging her away while she's screaming "Papa! it's me!" That was the big one, oh man.
12. When her dad realizes that she's his daughter and yells "Sarah!" and goes and hugs her.
13. When Sarah and Becky leave the school, and the bitchy girl hugs Sarah goodbye.

Yeah, I was a fucking mess.

Yea, the part when they were in court and the lawyer was being a total dick by showing pictures of his family, I cried like a baby.

I refuse to watch that movie again after the first time, that was the hardest i've ever cried.

Awww. You should try again. It's so good!

The first movie I remember watching at home with my parents:

Ernest Goes to Camp. When I was four. I cried like... um, a four year old would.

The part where Ernest loses his job at the camp. He starts tearing up after he got his ass kicked by that dude who worked the bulldozer who worked for the other dude that wanted to close the camp, you know, the evil dude? And then he leaves the cabin and it starts raining and all of a sudden you hear Jim Varney's voice singing "Gee, I'm glad it's raining/a wounder warrior needs a place to hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddeee." Fucking lost it.

On a more serious note, I cried at the end of Rudy, E.T., My Girl, Finding Neverland, and Reign Over Me. Probably more than that.

I always cried when animals got injured or killed in movies. Like in Homeward Bound when the cat went over the waterfall, and the dogs couldn't save her. That was traumatizing for a small child!

Forrest Gump- when Bubba dies by the riverbed in Vietnam

Once Were Warriors- when Gracie hangs herself and her mom Beth finds her truly amazingly underrated movie and one of the saddest and well acted scenes ever by Rena Owen

Uncle Buck- the last scene in the movie which freezes on John Candy holding up his hand.

http://upload.moldova.org/movie/actors/j/john_candy/thumbnails/tn2_john_candy_3.jpg

Planes,Trains and Automobiles -also the last scene of John Candy smiling and thoughtfully holding his cap while Steve Martin reunites with his family.

How could I forget that! I cry every single time I see that movie when it gets to the end. Even though I know what is coming, when Steve Martin goes back to meet John Candy at the train station, it manages to get me every time.

This isn't a movie.. but that episode of Futurama when Fry finds his old dog and wants to clone it and Bender gets jealous. The last scene when the dog is waiting for him to get back and Fry thinks the dog forgot about him. Ah. Gets me every time.

When Titanic came out my family took me to watch it, I started crying when everyone was jumping off the boat and into the water and stuff. The sheer madness and chaos of those final 30 minutes made me cry..

I fight the tears back in movies, lol, but obviously get choked up

Big Fish is the the ulitmate guy-cry movie I think, every guy I know at least got choked up in that if not cried, and i know girls that'll cry in anything that just didnt get it, it's definatly a father/son thing.

other stuff thats pretty heavy:
Pan's Labyrinth
The United States of Leland
Boyz N the Hood(i think you know which scene)
the Wizard (yeah that one w/Fred Savage and Jenny Lewis)
Edward Scissorhands
Saving Private Ryan
Simon Birch
