these guys are just a really solid pop band. it's futile, i know, but let's try to keep it positive/constructive.

nice, nice. i like ADL, but i'm a bigger fan of Sing But Keep Going. i'd recommend it if you haven't heard it yet.

I dig them, I really enjoyed their debut when it came out for about six weeks. Now I can't listen to them for more than 15 minutes at a time.

The first record and Summer ep both had some enjoyable songs on them but I can't stand A Different Light. They lost all their charm for me, it just sounds like everyone else.

Yeah that's part of the problem but I didn't find many "strengths" in it like he did, oh well.

Sherwood is pretty damn good. I just found out about them last month and their music is just feel good. It reminds me of the Rocket Summer, some Relient K or Waking Ashland.

Wanted to post in the Official Thread for the band too.

Saw these guys play a sweet set in Salt Lake on 11/14. Bought QU and got a free poster which the entire band signed after the show. Thought I'd post it here in case anybody wanted it. Scanned in at 600dpi, black and white filter applied (one of the signatures was in purple marker,) and cropped to 1920x1200 (works for 1680x1050 too resized):

I'm surprised there aren't more posts about this band on here! I really like The Town That You Live In, Home, and For The Longest Time. QU was a big disappointment for me though...the only ones I might listen to on that one are Maybe This Time and Around You.

definitely a great song. am i crazy for thinking "Free" is a fantastic song? my friend thinks it's really cheesy, but i love it.

Just started listening to these guys. Loving A Different Light right now. Alive is easily my favorite song so far. Going to have to dig into their back catalogue real soon
