For those folks that have yet to attend a date on this summer's Warped Tour, make sure you stop by the Island Records tent and grab yourself a free Island Records sampler. You have heard most of the shiz on there most likely, but you've just gotta hear the new Sum 41 (http://www.sum41.com) song, titled Bleed. This band is definitely improving and growing out of their Fat Lip days. Thank God. Their new album has suddenly become one of the records I'm looking forward to the most.

awesome, post that link! i've stuck by this band since day one...i dont get why people dis them so much. they're awesome at what they do, and regardless of what people say, they are not just a shitty pop punk band with predictable lyrics. come on, listen to their last album.

I think they have another new song called "Open Your Eyes" on the soundtrack to some independent Canadian movie. I listened to a clip of it and it sounded great. I really liked their last album, so I'm excited for this next one.

I never understood why everyone hated Sum 41 so much. They have some good material. I should listen to "Bleed" soon... I've been skipping over that one for some reason.

does this look infected was one kick ass of a fucking record, especially thanks for nothing... lyrics were great, and musically it was just such a step up above from their other material, it was my fav. cd from em' (liked em since half hour of power)... i'm really excited about their new cd, and i definately agree on them getting better as time goes on

I'm just as straight edge as you are. The difference is that I listen to one less shitty band than you do (Anti-Flag), which, if you like their lyrics, is something pretty shitty to believe in.

Yeah at Warped at the Island tent you had to sign up with them on a paper. The guy must have been pretty lazy since he didn't get up to hand me the sampler CD, he just tossed it at everyone who signed up. I haven't listened to it yet, I guess I should. I feel it's one of the best samplers I got at warped.
