View Full Version : First Aid Help: So I pressure washed my foot... (Pic inside!) OMGZ!

So I was pressure washing my driveway/patio/sidewalk all day yesterday, for like 4-5 hours, and towards the end I was doing up the sidewalk, when I felt something bite my foot. As a reflex, I shot at it w the water, but I failed to remember that I was blasting out pressurized water, and that shit blasts out dirt of a sidewalk, why wouldn't it demolish a few layers of skin?

I bandaged it up yesterday, and have been cleaning it w antibacterial wash, but its still bleeding every now and then. How can I just get it to stop bleeding? I have to move in like a week and can't be limping.

ok...well like I said in the Music forum...

get one of those cans of air.
turn it upside down, and spray it on your foot that is injured.
That should help.

Just bandage it. Change the bandage every couple hours or so to make sure it's clean and wear some thick socks when you move. Also, wear shoes next time you're doing something like that, or get your girlfriend to do it for you.

I never wear shoes either, but water shooting out at high speeds into one concentrated area...hmmmm...not the smartest crayon in the shed.

all you need to do to stop bleeding is to apply slight pressure by wrapping your foot in a medical wrap thing. and make sure not to rip it off when you need to change it.
