* there were h's next to these songs for some reason

solid show for the most part, not as good as the last time i saw them, i miss the billy bragg and op ivy covers and i miss the acoustic stuff but for fuck's sake they played 29 songs. thats ridiculous.

also, a 1 song encore is kinda lame but still....29 songs.

a few notes about the show, sick of it all was the opener and they...sucked. wasnt into them at all, the bass player looked like a moron and the band took over a half hour to set up which is total overkill.

they still wont say when the new album is coming out, just that its coming out "real soon" (it was supposed to be out in 2007........ the sets are so heavy on lets go and wolves, i could go for a little more life wont wait. also, i dont think ive ever seen tim strum a guitar. he either does like one hit or will pick a single string haha

thinking back on it now, i forgot to add, i went into the show thinking the band could be on its last leg what with brett leaving, the last minute thrown together b sides and c sides record and the who-knows-when-and-if new record.

but they looked like they were still best friends. there were some great tim and lars moments and some pretty solid full band moments too. matt tore it up like usual and i gotta say i hate crowd surfers more and more with every show, nothing worse than a bouncers gut in your face while he pulls somebody whos kicking you in the head out of the crowd

i missed this tour this round. when they were here a couple of years back, they were solid, though.

how was the creepshow?

your not serious right? hes been gone for 2 years. brandon steineckert is the new drummer.

and to the guy asking about creepshow, i have to give them some credit just cause their bass player was sick and played a stand up bass
