i still have yet to hear the new "dillenger", i'm hearing more praise for it, i'll need to look into it.

umm i love thrice and come back kid but this...this isnt good hardcore...at all.
he doesnt scream good its the kind of screaming anyone could do.Not like the used or thrice at all...thrice has good lyrics..

im pretty sure this could be any screamo/hard core band and everyone would be like they rock..there not BAD..just average

after listening again...this sounds like hate breed or something more along the lines of that..and thats..not a good thing

It's a good record...I'll admit my first spin through I was like, "what the hell?" But, like all Dillinger music, a few close listens, and you really see how well put together the record is...and Greg adds a lot more variety than Dimitri ever could have, which is good at times. You'll see the influence from Irony Is a Dead Scene everywhere too.

This is exactly like old Thrice, not really like comeback kid, but it is still good. It is hardcore, as far as the lyrics go I think they fit well with the music, "who needs a bodybag," come on that is just tough. It's more hardcore than stupid shit that everyone thinks is hardcore, it's not terror, but it's its good. Decent breakdowns, seen them at Warped Tour and kids were feeling it, kids that didn't suck. Hatebreed is what makes hardcore, they are the reason hardcore bands have a label to be on. There would not be as much hardcore if it wasn't for Hatebreed. Stillborn Records home of hardcore's up and coming bands, With Honor, Full Blown Chaos, Dead Wrong, and don't forget Sworn Enemy.

I never said I was hardcore. I never really consider myself "punk" or "hardcore" because I care more about the music than any scene crap. Which means I also appreciate classical music and jazz. I couldn't care less about being labeled as something. Whatever that makes me is fine by me. And that kid does not have any clue what hardcore is.

good thread we got going here... glad the cd leaked so some people have heard it finally... i think its awesome. i heard some people saying there's "too many breakdowns". All in all its heavy enough that the pits this entire Warped Tour have been insane with hardcore dancing.. i guess thats all that matter is that people move to your music. no labels.. its not hardcore.. its more punk/hardcore/metal .. u could call it harmetpunk or some dumb shit.. who the fuck cares either you like it or you dont.
