I got this idea by a post I made last night with trying to help someone with their poetry. rate it.
As the whites poured in I turned my head
And I couldn't help but stare
I got out of my seat
To run up the ramp
Just to see that reaction on your face
We snuck a talk
We snuck a laugh
And even though it was the first time
I spoke to you in person since the month you left
I never felt more comfortable talking to someone.
Bathroom breaks were over
And I had to leave.
You told me to follow
But it served no purpose.
You walked through the entrance to the upper deck
And I watched you leave for the second time this summer
But I couldn't have been happier.
So as the whites poured out after the seventh
I took a deep breath in and exhaled it gently
As I realized that I drove 180 miles
And spent 69 dollars
Just to see that reaction on your face.
