super nintendo has one, so it's only fair.

give it up for gunstar heroes, streets of rage 2, eternal champions, virtua racing, sonic the hedgehog, ristar, phantasy star, shining force, revenge of shinobi, wonderboy, road rash, general chaos, mortal kombat 2 (blood included), aladdin (the good version), contra hard corps., street fighter 2 championship edition, zombies ate my neighbors, landstalker, toe jam and earl, golden axe, strider, comix zone, mickey mouse and the castle of illusion, mega man : the wily wars, earthworm jim, m.u.s.h.a, out of this world, flashback, vectorman, castlevania bloodlines, and ecco the dolphin among many others.

haha. I'm just messing around. But I do think Super Nintendo blows sega out of the water. I did enjoy the streets of rage games though.

eh, they both supplied alot of good times so i don't think either one blows the other out of the water. i much preferred the genesis back when i was a kid though.

i had one of those to at one point to...the battery life on those things was downright laughable.

genesis was decent, but nintendo and super nintendo were the real deal.

i never understood why Comix Zone and Eternal Champions were so underrated.

Super NES had the benefit of being developed 3 years later, which means almost a century in the technology field...specially in early 90's.

but Genesis could keep up with Super NES pretty well...even without zoom efects, less sound channels and colours. The only thing that kept Super NES as the top videogame back then were the Nintendo zealots. in terms of comparison, they were always fighting for the first place, inch by inch.

Many many hours were spent playing Sonic 2, Sonic and Knuckles (the whole thing of putting the old cartriges on top of the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge was badass) Combat Cars, Pitfall the new expedition (which had incredible graphics probably the best on the system) Mario Andretti Racing, Formula 1 racing, Madden 97, and Comic Zone.

For my money I wad definitely a Sega kid, even though I enjoyed SNES as well.

poor taste because I recognize that nintendo put out better consoles, or because I own those games? it doesn't matter which, as you're clearly wrong regardless. again, nice try, but no dice.

poor taste because you don't recognize great games when you see them.

how the fuck did you manage to pull that one out of your ass? I have "poor taste" and "don't recognize great games" because I prefer nintendo. did you miss the part where I said I own half the games on your list? fuck, you are thick.

I've always crazy for EA Sports' in Genesis. I'm still a footy fan, of course and keep playing it on PS2. but FIFA was an addiction. a pity i played it only until the 97 version...some friends of mine told me there was a FIFA 98 for Genesis (or Mega Drive like it was called in Brazil) and even NBA Live 98. damn, I didn't get those ones, nor even images.

it seems that nobody mentioned Sonic Spinball...

It seriously was. I loved it though. Wish I still had my Genesis + games so I could play them again.

The Sonic series is legendary. I also remember having Power Rangers games and an Animaniacs game.

I got love for the Mortal Kombat code that gave you blood, cause on Super NES you got that gray shit which was lame city.

As Sonic, I miss running through those hoops and catching infinite rings, but it sucked when you hurt your ass on a spike and lost 50 of them.

the x-men games aren't bad (especially with 2 players)

Wolverine: Adamantium Rage is by far the hardest game i've ever played - poor emeny balancing, terrible/slow-responding controls, and a built in time bomb that makes you have to rush through to complete each level (if the timer hits, you just die instantly and have to start over)

Great game.

There was this other Disney game that involved Donald and Mickey, with magic cards I think. Haha, seems sorta like Kingdom Hearts.
